Oh, played this pre translate by just bumbling around, cool it has a real thread and translation, now. The dev has been posting about a new release so hopefully that comes out kinda soon and then maybe we'll get a thread for that here, too, maybe a bit quicker than it took for this one..?

Seeing the comments about a virus flag, I also had one on his other game. Not sure if they're genuine or if there's just some file in the directory or something that Defender just does not like, but better safe than sorry.

I'm sorry but I actually have no clue how to get this game running properly without the weird half screen issue. I extracted the files in japanese encoding, changed my system language to japanese, all of that didn't changed anything. Help ):
Virustotal gives a complete all clear on the zip, and win defender doesn't seem to think anything is suspicious at all. Unless someone shows up with something more concrete, I think there's no reason to worry about this.
For what it's worth the file that flagged on his other game appears to be some kind of wolfrpg editing software, presumably for the translation patch. It shouldn't be considered surprising that defender could consider it malware. You also can just pick that file out of the game directory without it effecting how it runs.
