I've already said my peace on Maple, but for some reason the conversation keeps going around in circles, so allow me to take this opportunity to unequivocally state what I will and won't do.
Maple is a pre-op trans woman, and so has a penis. She is a completely optional side character, who you in no way are forced to interact with. She currently has one scene, in which you meet her, talk to her and maybe hug her. She will often tell the player she is trans in this scene, but depending on your choices may not be comfortable doing so yet.
Maple is also one of the most popular side characters. I've had a lot of positive feedback from people who are happy to see a non-fetishised trans-woman in an adult game.
In her future content, I plan to have her explicitly tell the player she is trans, before things get too heated. You will also be able to simply deny her invite, in the same way you can with many other characters. If you don't wish to see a penis in this game, it will be extremely easy to avoid. You'll actively have to go out of your way to see any.
Now here's what I won't do.
I will not add an option to make it so you can never see her.
I will not add an option to make her cis.
I will not do these things for the same reasons I won't allow the player the option of removing all bi characters, or whitewashing POC - because bigotry has no place in Yuri University.
Genital preference is one thing, and I won't be forcing any dicks on anyone. But outright removal or transformation of characters is where I draw the line.
Lastly, let me remind everyone that I am but one person, making an adult game for fun, and releasing it for free. I enjoy receiving feedback, and take much of it to heart, hence why I rushed the replay gallery and removed the hard time limit. But I also can't please everyone, nor would I even try. Instead, I'm making the game I wished I could have played, in the hopes that other people feel the same.

v0.52 is being wrapped up, and should see a public release within two weeks. It adds BFF's scene 5 (which has a fair bit of replay value, good thing I added that replay gallery!), as well as the third sex-tutoring scene with Ezri and Scarlett, plus a couple of other small things.
