I see. From my perspective, he didn't look that much submissive in this update. (IE. Fought in the scuffed court battle and Challenged the blue-haired girl's way of doing things.


That being said, I'm trying to portray him as a confused normal student who doesn't have that much grasp on the situation. Maybe that's what causes him to look submissive? (Maybe I'm executing something wrong)

I know you are trying to portray him as confused normal student. I am suggesting just next time give us option in scenes like when alice was sitting on her and wanted him to call her mistress and he just does it Later gets molested by her in shadow realm and says he likes it. In scenes like that, maybe a option for us to act like submissive or dominative with another character.
At last this is only my suggestion, its up to you to implement it or not
