When I try to start the new version I get an error on Chrome that says "no valid storage adapters found"

hey, this is an issue with your web browser. it is most likely because cookies are disabled. the following is from a post online about the error:
The warning indicates that the Player's web-browser is either:
a. So old it doesn't support the local storage functionallity required by the SugarCube engine.
b. Is being run in a mode / way that restricts access to the storage functionallity required.
You can get this warning if the web-browser has been configured to disable cookies.
Which web-browser (brand and version) was being used, and which mode was it being run in, when the warning occured? And please check your cookies setting.

This sounds like the problem then. My local storage is very full on Chrome (I had to delete a bunch of old saves recently just to be able to save in HTML games again) so that tracks. The online version works fine though, except there's a missing image during the library scene with Ben where you flash him.

Developer, thank you for always creating great content and great games. However, due to save file compatibility issues with the recent update, time is too tight for me to continue the story from the beginning. If you could provide us with a save file from before the 2nd or 3rd stage update, I think it would help us maintain interest in the story flow. Thank you so much again. hey, what happened with the save file? there should be no issues trying to play the recent game version with old saves as i have made sure not to break compatibility unless you are trying to play a save file from before version 0.70. right now i don't have save files for the game but you could always ask on my Discord
it is good that you added an option to reeuce the grind. but. it is still there for streaming and art. players have to grind 200 points with the addition of 3-5, sometimes 9-10 for what? to see a new gif used in billions html games? i will never understand this obsession to create endless repetitions of the same things from nothing.
also i checked: 78 science +3 Science Skills+2 Science Skills Boost=82. not sure about that. and dr.g packets are not adding to existing ones, but are replacing. 3+1=1, 2+3=3 etc. didnt check the code.

i will most definitely look into reducing the grind for streaming and art, i did not make them as content heavy yet as they are meant for just money making. but i do want to add some kind of storyline in the future for sure.
i did not know about the drug packets not being added up in minigame skip mode, sorry. i fixed it right now just as i read your comment. nobody notified me before this. the science skill add up also has been fixed.

i have a few good ideas that would work for the streaming (events) i'll write one of them down and see if it would go with whats there already then i'll msg it to you
when you send a pic to lisa, ben answers and improves his relation. and i think i forgot one more bug. i remembered while i was writing the next idea. sleeping sex scene sometimes displays something like "_zaratoy" instead of a character's name.
one more thing i wanted to mention. what do you think, if family members may take control in shower sometimes, for example? to remove the choice from a player and force something like "today you suck". to randomize this event a bit.
(it doesnt have to be mean. "honey, i miss your %bodypart% so much, can we %correspondongsex% right now?". just an unnecessary thought)
and it is almost impossible to catch a "service" option in the park's toilet. everything else appears pretty often, but this one is very rare.

yeah that pic thing is fixed. issue is that F95 releases are lagging a week behind because there was a small issue with the game promotion when an update had come out. so that bug has been fixed already and it will technically come out this weekend. i will look into the sleeping sex scene for sure.
and i do also want to do more non-player based interactions like the one you suggested. it's just that i have been focusing on adding all the important NPCs currently to the game before going back to a few content only updates.
