RMB the exe. open properties go to 'Compatibility' tab. enable the Compatibility mode and select Windows Vista (service pack 2). this will most like fix your problems
Doing this just makes the game not boot properly at all. It shows up in task manager but nothing is actually running

Game is made with Construct, which is exports games as javascript and uses electron to pack it in an executable. That certainly explains why so many people are having all sorts of rendering problems. I'm lucky in that I had none, nvidia 1070 here.

Anyway, as is, there's very little to do, I recommend checking only to see if the art and weird fetish interests you.

Now imagine a game in GZDoom but with the mechanics of CoC or TiTS. Doesn't even need to have animated sprites, just static ones, as long as the mechanics works, and you display the encounters text. That would be amazing.
Could probably start from the light-rpg mechanics Strife tried to work on, but oh well...

Not sure if it can help but maybe the problem with the z-index on AMD is having too many sprites in the same layer.

Describe this topic in more detail, if you want me to personally in the Discord, with pictures and examples, it sounds cool, the game is still being tested, for me it's all new)

Honestly yeah if this game shifted towards using old school doom shooting, itd be pretty good. The drawings are incredible but the gameplay feels like it isnt there

Not the guy with the idea, but doing a first person game like you're doing here, GZDoom is likely one of the best options regarding compatibility, speed, controls and all the graphics handling. Making a brand new game isn't quite straightforward, as you'll have to look into how to make "total conversion" mods for Doom

I also suspect you'll have to learn C programming, and I know that Construct has the option for visual programming (drag'n drop stuff, lots of pre-made controls and commands, much like Game Maker), so that choice alone can be a dealbreaker. There might be other Doom sourceports in easier languages, but that'd require some googling.

Here's an example of a game with the same first person perspective, 2D sprites "always facing the player" and a 3D world, made with GZDoom - https://f95zone.to/threads/slooter-v0-20-buxomdev-monsterbox.120942/

The game Astcit mentioned, with RPG elements,

Now, I, personally, am not aware of any proper RPG-like games made with the Doom engine, although there was a madlad that made a Donkey Kong Country clone of sorts in it. Anyway, if you're willing to deal with a lot of programming yourself, it might be a good choice.

Well, let me go by parts: I saw the screenshots of this game and thought "it looks a lot like a Doom wad", which by the way is not a bad thing, I love oldschool Doom/Heretic/Hexen/Strife (they're all built in the same game engine and have similar mechanics).
So that also made me remember that back when I discovered CoC and TiTS, years ago, I thought "this game would be cool in a 3D style", because both CoC and TiTS have similar mechanics, and a lot of porn.
Then around that time, I discovered HDoom, which is kinda a cool concept, but it's clunky and heavily dependant of sprite animations, which the Doom engine is not very friendly with. But, ZDoom/GZDoom made a world of things possible.

So Doom WADs (mods basically) allow the game to be completely converted to pretty much anything anyone wants, but retain the 3D space the Doom engine used. Strife, for example, was the first game to try to make a RPG in the Doom engine, with dialog boxes, inventory management and vendors etc... and it was quite cool for the time. For today, meh, it's quite simple, but has it's charm still. While Heretic and Hexen have some light-RPG mechanics, but are pretty much DnD themed fps shooters (but with the map/hub areas complexity of a RPG game, where you have to solve puzzles to progress in maps.

My idea was to make the gameplay mechanics of CoC/TiTS (char customization, sex interactions in text dialog boxes, and a really basic RPG stat system) into the GZDoom engine, so we would have the player navigating the world spaces in 3D, and fighting enemies like in Doom engine games, but interact with them via text prompts when needed, like talking with NPCs or activating a sex scene, which is kinda how Strife also give quests/missions and such.

Now, why do it in the Doom engine instead of Unity or whatever else? First because it is ALL free (well except for base doom game, but c'mon, Romero and Carmack don't give a fuck anymore if people copy some floppy disks around after all these decades) and supported with great simple tools for making the maps and scripts (the map editor for example is literally just drawing lines and selecting textures and seeing it all being done in real-time in 3D, it can be lots more complex of course, but can be that simple also). Second because it's all very well documented, and quite easy to learn, I myself did a few mods using ZScript and ACS, but don't really have the willpower to do anything actually impressive in scope. And third because, as I said before, something with the 3D freedom of Doom but the mechanics of the porn games could be really fun, not only to actually play and enjoy, but also in the erotic/fap side of things if done right.

So, to have references I would say check out HDoom for the actual sprite porn side of things (that would be pretty much he style of any graphic porn the game would have), Strife for the equipement/interactions/quest style, and Doom/Heretic/Hexen themselves would be the rest of the gameplay (combat, defeating some specific enemies then maybe lead to sex interactions like in CoC/TiTS, etc...)

But that's it, just a dumb idea, I don't have anything concrete apart from the games I spoke. It's not that it all would be a LOT easier to do than any other engine, it would be just a little bit easier if one would go implement all those mechanics in the doom engine rather than making from scratch in any other engine.

The answer to everyone who talked about 3D Doom, yes, I understand what you're talking about) by the way, I also played them, I was also inspired by the visual from old shooters, I am very much attracted to this retro graphics when 2D sprites simulate 3D, but I will not add shooting to my game, since it does not fit into my plans, the update for the game (0.8) comes out in a couple of days, and I made a huge number of changes, improved the interface, made everything more convenient, and also made a cycle of actions so that the game would be more like an imitation of the free world. I hope you like it. I'll explain later

Ngl this looks like it was drawn with crayons, I don't hate it, but I wish the lines/outlines could be less fuzzy. The game is cool but really not a lot of content. I think if dev can refine his artstyle even more, maybe include more variety of body types instead of big tits and big ass bimbos things would look a lot better. I'll check in a few months to see where this game is at.

I don't know wtf is going on here, I have AMD btw. I tried the compatibility mode fix and it does the same thing. I'm on windows 10 so I don't know how to add the EXE to dedicated GPU with windows 10.
