I like the idea of freeroam and would love to see a good game with it but this just isent it.

Lets start with story, its a plot you have seen a million times before so it gets a bit boring, MFC is a sucubus and well thats about it....you can pretty much just walk up to someone click the sex button and you start a sex scene, 0 build-up, 0 romance, it just feels pointless and boring.

And it dosent get any better that the quests are same old shit as well boring as fuck, first quest go buy food to make pancakes....use stove pick em up turn quest in, its just meaningless and not fun.

The world feels to big compared to people so it just feels empty and add the buggy and boring quests its just not worth the time.

When it comes to sex scenes it just gets worse, try going to Claires room right at the start and pick sex and she will finger MFC but it just looks like shit, Claires fingers are no where near MFCs pussy yet her pussy moves and MFC cums...it looks stupid and feels idiotic and considering thats pretty much first sex scene it should seriously be perfect.....not someone fingering the air....but ofc thats only if you ever get past the bus stop......

So yeah game has alot of bugs and its not really playable.

The characters looks ok but thats about it noting great or hot, maybe later in game but i just couldent play it that long.

Music is meh.

Gosh, I hated the grind on this game. But that’s not the worst part. I disliked the way the sexual scenes were described, with so much fluff it’s almost TMZ. But that’s not the worst part. I hated the way this game doesn’t tell you there is new content unlocked that you just need to stumble upon. But that’s not the worst part. The worst part is hints not helping, but sending you off track. I don’t care how many language barriers there are, that’s messed up game design.

STORY
So you look for a place to live and three nice, good looking young asian women take you in. They have rules for you and you gladly comply, except that one rule for privacy. Your goal is to get closer to these women, court them, spy on them, involuntarily touch them and eventually have them like it. Oh, and there’s a city of other women who can’t wait until you do the same to them.

That’s the intro. There are some basic parts of story segments - Zhou Ling’s boyfriend, Wu Xin’s job, Qin Yan’s boyfriend, Sun Li’s ambition - but it’s held back by copious, enormous, mountain sized groups of declarative text that tell you what the scientific action is whereby the woman doth receiveth pleasure as tingling sensations over her body.. You catch my drift. Click click click until the porn. Don’t bother going into the depth of the story, there’s absolutely no pay off and it doesn’t help to understand things.

Personality on the women isn’t the greatest, but at least it has variation. Sun Li’s a detached workaholic. Zhou Ling tries to be the modest, faithful girlfriend. Zhu Dan isn’t playing around and wants a boyfriend. It all comes down to the same endings of missionary, cowgirl or doggystyle - but at least it’s in a package. Not every package is that great though. While Wu Xin looks good and her story is eventually interesting, the gameplay just makes it a bit unbearable.And there are multiple women who suffer from ‘WhatTheFuckIsThisism’.

Funny sidenote - whenever you press ‘Talk’ to any women the game randomly throws an interaction and some of these are pretty dark and edgy. It’s not at all realistic, but I guess it’s the creator’s way of being tongue in cheek with the audience in the game. Just don’t ever actually talk to any of these women unless you need the points to level or if she has something good to say.

PRESENTATION
The game looks nice! With quite a large set of asian women there’s more than enough to pick if it’s your style. Outfits are somewhat realistic, although they might be a bit sexified without coming off too slutty. I like how the women look realistic, it makes the game far more believable. There’s no over the top porn scene going on, aside from maybe some fidgeting in the hospital. Hello nurse!

The menu and button structure isn’t great, but passable. Eventually you’ll find the right buttons to push your adventure forward and while the numbers don’t immediately make sense, you will understand eventually. The choices on the right side is an odd choice, but you get used to it fast enough. The map works, sometimes new icons pop up at certain hours. The game looks pretty good, which is easily it’s best feature. Nothing like having a docile woman eventually riding your dick only to have semen dripping out of her while panting. Just don’t explain to me in text how the hot seeds is slowly dripping on the bed.. That’s what this game does and it’s not a good look.

What is a good look is the decoration of the scenes. Houses look great, work looks like work and the ice cream parlor and cafe are believable. Visuals is definitely Ititnenon’s strong suit. It helps sell the fantasy of preying on your roommates and the women around you.

GAMEPLAY
So how is the gameplay loop? Honestly, it’s shit. You have about a full hour of fun and the rest is just grind and pain. Error messages pop up, hints tell you to go somewhere that doesn’t help you complete missions, important story items are tucked away behind a couple clicks - there isn’t any polish in this game whatsoever. And you can feel it every step of the way.

If you thought the story was neglected, the gameplay loop is atrocious. There are missions where you repeatedly have to trigger events, only to have to trigger them again. For example: Massage Zhang four times on different days. When you complete that: Massage Zhang and suck her tit four times. Fine, it happens. Next one: Massage Zhang, suck her tit and caress her hair three times. It’s uninspired, unnecessary and rude to the player’s time because level rarely really add to the story.

Also beware of what the game doesn’t tell you. There are things you can see or re-watch that change depending on the relationship you have with a woman. Example: You meet a woman at the hospital. Eventually you go out and get a drink. Then visit her home and get intimate. By the time you do that, there’s absolutely no reason to go back to the hospital again. But if you do, you might get some extra content in the hospital as well. The game just never tells you this, it expects you to search. Also, don’t let a girl sleeping stop you. Consent is not something we care about here, if it has a hole and gets wet for you - you can stick it.

OVERALL
Should you play it? No, unless you like hurting yourself or are a fan of asian women. Until Ititnenon respects our intellect and time and builds an update that does away with the unnecessary grind, builds proper storylines and makes better use of the sandbox this game is built in - I don’t see a reason for you to visit. I’m giving this game brownie points for the hot women and the world building, but can’t get over how shitty the gameplay loop is. Not even Wu Xin’s OnlyFriends adventure can take away that pain.

This game deserves a 4 until it gets better.

It's a very well written HTML (not so) visual novel. For me there are several drawbacks:
1) It's mostly text based. There are some pics & vids, but they're few and far between.
2) It's very linear. There are a few choices here and there, but the story is largely linear.
3) There's very little porn. This might be a + or a - depending on people, but for me the balance is off.

With this said I give the game 4 stars because the story is very interesting and well written, and the developer has done interesting things with the html.

A one of a kind. Worth to try. Lots of content.
A MC which actually feels like a MC in supernatural environment rather than being a pussy. Awesome girls with different personalities. Great renders and animation. The dev can improve the story and plot adding suprising elements to it.

There isn't too much to say about this game in my opinion, in a good way. Character model and personalities are fantastic, H-scenes are done very well, the writing is fun and entertaining, and although it's not open world, it makes up for it in having 3 "routes" you can take with the girls. Some of the background setpieces are amazing as well, with proper furnishing and lighting, although their quality seems to drop off as the game goes on.

This is definitely one of Illusion's darker titles, with a disturbing focus on rape. Looking past the sense of guilt this game made me feel, the gameplay itself was unexpectedly different than Koikatsu, which I tend to use as a point of reference.

Rather than a large cast of characters, you are limited to 3. These 3 targets being a mother and her two daughters, the unfortunate family members of a man who has wronged you and whom you've decided to prey upon as an act of revenge. The outfit selection is also far more limited. You get two outfits per character, regular and swimsuit. However, I did not see any way to quickly change outfits during gameplay without entering 'edit' mode so it's more like one outfit.

The 'edit' mode. It was interesting having the ability to immediately switch into the character creator during gameplay. Although it's not a feature I made much use of, I could definitely see it's value and think it's a nice-to-have. I didn't like not being able to use my mouse's scroll wheel on the sliders within the character creator. It's very difficult to make small adjustments otherwise.

As soon as you spin up a new game, you are thrust into a rape scene after some exposition explaining what drives your character. You have a scene with each family member one after one as a brief demo I suppose, before entering the main game mode which is like a semi Free-H mode. The act of loading these scenes is why I describe it as a semi free-H mode. You pick the girl, the place, and the lighting (time of day), do your thing and repeat. There is zero free roam, so you are just immediatly loading scene after scene. The game is very grindy, where the objective is to pleasure the girls so much that they become less resistant. However, that goal is a marathon and not a race. I decided to focus on one girl to see if I could get their mode to change from 'resistant', but many scenes later I've made no progress. It's a weird feeling when playing a porn game feels like a chore.

Technical/Mod notes:
Their hair and breasts moving around from my mouse cursor moving over them was a bit jarring and I preferred to disable that. Turns out that behavior was due to a mod called 'boop'.

The PHIBL graphics mod does make the game look good, but it was unstable for me. The FPS would get progressively worse and I was unable to fix it without reloading the game or disabling it entirely.

The sex animations are amazing I really didn't expect that, it's probably top 3 of any I've seen around here. Most of the time I see animations in games here and I feel like : "Well, that's a little awkward, I would have preferred renders..." But here it really adds something

The plot is ok. I'd say I'm somewhat interested in it.
MC is ok.
The girls are great, I like their models, I really like their different personalities, I like the choice. Their dialogues, the different dynamics, everything.

I saw some complains about the unskippable scenes, I haven't had an issue with them.

The world setting I like it, I don't know how to say it but it just feels right.

I like the humor in this game too.

The sex animations really make this game standout for me. Overall I really appreciate this game and hope it will keep being updated

This game is very bare bones. I got both endings in less than 25 minutes and did the prologue. Not only is this very short, but a lot of the art is repeated. In my opinion, not worth the time. If you are a NTR fan, I don't think this will do it for you. Tim has no reaction to anything. He might as well be watching golf on TV.

Fantastic game so far. Fun interesting characters, dialogue is some of the best I've seen in the genre, and the sex scenes are great in animation, sexiness, and are long enough to enjoy.

The story outside of the romance is also quite interesting and enjoyable, I'm looking forward to learning more about the plot behind the scenes.

bad gameplay even worse translation. the gameplay is boring , confusing and just not that interesting. and the translation is so awful you can't really tell what is going on. i couldn't tell who was the subject of almost half of the sentences

Was a good game 2 years ago. Developer has just been on leech mode and putting out no content. The game is also very bad gameplay wise, you just wouldn't get away with a game like this anymore. The market for xxx games has changed and Dark Cookie has missed that boat.

I like the overall presentation of this game but it has lots of problems with unnecessary menuing which really muddles up the experience.

Game shouldn't ask you who you want to attack when there's only a single enemy to attack. It should also let you click on the enemy you want to attack instead of opening a menu to ask you.

If a door isn't locked I shouldn't have to inspect it to open it.

There should be a "pick up everything" option when looting. IMO currency should be automatically picked up when checking containers.

There's a bunch of blank space bellow the character portrait that could be used to host buttons for saving / loading, accessing the inventory, etc.

I hope we get some sort of change to these cumbersome mechanics, and of course, more erotic content in a future update.

I just couldent get into it, the story dident really do much for me personaly and if the story was great i still couldent play this one, the sandbox is proberly the worst ive seen and the most boring one as well, you just have a calender where you can put in what you will do doing the week, like visit friends, go to school, go to the beach and so on its just not my kind of fun.
Then theres the map when exploring city and its just to big and to much of a mess, you would need to use so much time learning everything and i just dont want to put so that much time into nothing.

It dident make it any better that i wanted to play the lesbian route but the very first fucking time i went out with a friend they did some basketball shit where you have no choice to say no and you will also agree to get fucked by two ugly looking gangsters when you lose and ofc you will lose....and thats at the very start of the game so that lesbian route went to shit after a few mins of gameplay, i found that absolutly idiotic and the lack of choices dosent make the game any more fun when it clearly has alot of kinetic bullshit you cant even avoid.

As for the characters its HS and i normal like them but i dunno they where mostly boring to me in this one, granted i never got to see em all since that would proberly take me a few months of trying to find my way around on the maps and such and theres just no way im willing to do that.

Game is not even animated either so the rewards if you do put in a shitload of time is close to nothing, i saw a few scenes and they just arent good.

Also game is silent which is a huge fail as well considering how much time you need to spend figuring things out while not reading the novel.

I don't see the quality of the game, without the H, in this, at all.
The H itself is practically non existent, thinking about the hear say about the game.
The Gameplay Loop wears out quickly.
Couldn't enjoy this for the most part... Except the little ass wiggle animations of the girls in the upgrade screen. Those were my highlight

I like this game a lot. Ive played it since 8.4.2 version.

Reason not give five stars ill start with:

Game is constantly buggy. Either of big or small amount depending of the releases.
Most commonly, when a bigger change in the game is implemented, it reflects game stability.
Game have constant clipping. In the walls, trees, rocks whatsoever. MC clip, NPCS and creatures also..
Texture drop is still present, but much less than before.
Even H scenes have clipping.

Triggers and events status reset.
Does not matter is it quest, marker, location, relation or so. For all of them in some moment or another, the status is reset for reason unknown and You have to restart it.

Recent versions have huge performance problem with video memory leaks.


Now with other side of the coin : ) (or the right side of the Logo)
First thing, which catch right after game start, is music. It is awesome and give huge influence over the game.
Game have very complicated, but very productive character modeller. Patience is necessary to work with, but result is quite OK.
There is large open world with huge influence from first Gothic with some Nordic elements. Music mentioned above, also brings much to this Nordic feelings.

I like a lot, how game evolves and how RowDarknes leads it. Especially recent changes on the skills and attribute system, based on practise. It will be great if this system evolves further.

Crafting, survive system, which works as a benefit, instead as limitation, environment reflection over gameplay.. Everything is highly attractive and addicted.

Developer is quite positive guy, from what i've read as his comments. Have intention to do his best as much as he can.

One of the most addictive and meaningful H systems in the such type of game, which i ever played.
Not just some animation. Animation itself in the game is not that good, neither that bad either. Suffers from game curse - clipping.


Some personal thoughts/prefs
It will be great, if there is deeper story and more quests
Some locations as village, or barbaric camp could be safe places.
People over the island to be more active. Some creature come to attack You in the village and no one reacts.
In the night ambushes if MC is in the village, beats start to attack everybody and people there get lost forever
More interaction with the NPCs. Like Building together a wall around village, or having intercourse
Building system - it is very good as intention, but as buildings have some HP they disappear over time. Also if build a house for example it is bigger that already available ones.
Old armour design was better IMO. Especially steel which had that Nordic vision also : )
Water life. As of now there are only fishes near the starting point. And Pine trees and Cactuses on the seabed seems like harbinger of the Great Flood : )
H system to have more reflection over the game play. As now it depends on practice, it could evolve on the possibility of have interaction with larger creatures instead of just levelling
Some group interactions not only solo.

Game is not easy to play, by all means. Good amount of patience is necessary to play it. Even more with last release(s).
But in the same time have so huge potential, that very limited number of other games have..

Nonsensical story, a fresh hotshot lawyer gets hired and is tasked with something that has absolutely nothing to do with law, proceeds to break into a mansion that is guarded like a fortress to rescue a kidnapped girl that promptly runs away. hobo safehouses, pi work, wtf An AI could do better at this.

I genuinely loved this game. Didn't know what to fully expect from reading some of the reviews so far and I must admit it does lack in h content.

On the other hand I really enjoyed the protagonist and the overall story more than I thought I would, it's almost one of those came here for sex and stayed for the plot reviews.

I would however really enjoyed a free roam at the end of the game with Lacia, as the commander and being able to have new dialog or options and more h content involving her new role.
