Living in a Brothel v0.3.0 is already available to $5 patrons and Itch.io
We're quickly stopping by to tell you that version 0.3.0 of Living in a Brothel is now available to all patrons, including those in the $5 tier. In addition, we also released v0.3.0 for those who previously purchased the game on Itch.io. Other than that, the new version of the demo, v0.1.7, is also publicly available.

As soon as the game loads, this error appears and closes. I already downloaded the game from another server, but it still gives the error.
The opening concept of this game clicked for a while.
I was diggin it.
Then tasks became tedious with no satisfaction. ie. near invisible camera location. boring photo shoot. Next thing ya know, the story does a full detour about some oddball guys personal history. Caboose derailment

I searched this thread for both "release" and "new version," and found nothing recent. Don't know if the dev ever reads these comments, but if so, is there a planned release coming in the next 3-4 months?

❗An important message regarding the current 5$ and $10 tiers on Patreon
Hello everyone!
It's with reluctance that we announce to you that the values of the $5 and $10 tiers will have to undergo a small adjustment.
As you may already know, our main source of funding for the development of this game is your support on our Patreon.
However, there was an increase in the price of things in general, in addition to a slight drop in the number of supporters on our Patreon, so the only way we found to maintain the game's development in a sustainable way is with this measure.
The change in values will be subtle, so that the current $5 tier will become $6, and the current $10 tier will become $12. In this way, we believe that the pricing will remain accessible to everyone.
For our current supporters, this new amount will only be applied after 31 days from today, so you don't need to worry about it for now.
For new supporters, these adjusted values will be applied immediately.
There is also another reason that is leading us to this small price adjustment:
The purpose of our Patreon page is to obtain financial support for the development of the game, so the idea is that collaboration will be continuous on the part of our patrons. For this reason, prices are more affordable here, so anyone who can support with just a small amount can also participate.
Obviously, this isn't mandatory, any user can just pay $5 once, download the game and stop supporting.
We left it this way precisely to allow more users to access it, as some don't have as many resources, and we don't want to exclude these people.
On the other hand, we feel that this is being abused by some users and, perhaps, this small adjustment will help to curb this practice too.
With prices configured this way, we'll have values proportional to the 20% off on Steam, but continuously on our Patreon, as we don't have to share part of our earnings with Steam, we're able to offer this more affordable value here.
Thus, access to the game will remain accessible, even for users with fewer resources, as the increase from $5 to $6 is not as impactful.
All other tiers will remain unchanged, so if you are a $25 or more supporter, nothing will change for you.
That said, we would like to thank everyone who has supported our work so far and we highlight that, without your support, we would not have reached where we are currently in the development of this project.
