okay, please tell me about the mc, the player you play as, is it really the old man? because for whatever reason i got the feeling to just drop it as soon as the "Chosen" person i played actually died, may be becasue i was in a bit of a bad mood or cuz it is currently 3 am and just got annoyed.

is the game gonna do more of these fucking character swaps?? i really wanna avoid playing as a 50 year old man but i've heard it's a good game. still might drop before even giving it a chance

Yes, Simon is the MC, and there are sections where you don't play as him after the intro. If that's enough for you to drop it before giving it a chance, then just delete and don't play it again.

Simon will remain the male lead and overall primary protagonist for the rest of the game. Occasionally your party will split up and Simon obviously can't be in two places at once, but he won't die and no one will take his role as head of harem.

There was no "personal attack" received on my part, simply the obnoxious way you were asking a question. Maybe think about not starting off that way in future, and not lying about it later, and you most likely won't get the kind of response I purposefully gave.

if you're bothered by Simon's age still, he basically has eternal youth but his appearance depends on his perception of himself which changes very slowly.

I actually like the fact that Simon's an older person. For one, it means there's an in-story reason for him knowing so much about the world he lives in, and why he doesn't need a lot of characters going "As you know..." every other paragraph or so. For another, it's just nice to have a protagonist who isn't ruled by his dick, and has more solutions to a problem that isn't either 'fuck it up with my sword/fuck it with my ~sword~' (which ties in to the whole 'older gentleman' thing above). Simon's kind of spoiled most other H-RPG protagonists for me, I have to admit

EDIT: That said, I think I must warn you that if you're expecting tons of sex- well, TLS does have that, but they're spaced few and far between. The game is very much focused on story first, fucking second.

i do hope when the project is nearing completion narration and plotwise, perhaps Sierra Lee would actually add more scenes, no doubt the flair in her choice of flavor texts is already fairly wholesome to begin with

iirc, Sierra have stated interest that there'll be illustration for non-sex scene.
so something like a very important/core scene might have a chance to get illustration.

The thing is, I'd hesitate to call TLS a smut game as well. It's kind of like the movie Basic Instinct- yeah it's got some pretty hot sex scenes in it, but if the sex is all you're in for, you're missing out on a lot. Or heck, you could compare it to The Witcher (I know I have). Both stories wouldn't be affected all that much if you took out the sex bits and replaced them with fades to black, because there's a lot more going on, and I submit that TLS is pretty much the same.

I'd implore you to give it another chance, it really is quite a good game. Simon might be a little cold but you may find yourself warming up to him. Or if not, the cast is 90% female so you may find interest there.

I would call TLS a smut game for 1 point of the game, the world of the game are built and revolved around the concept of sex.
Or more precisely, Purity and Lust as alonon explained.
Hence sex would be inseparable from the story, and you would see sex happening most of the time xd

Unless you change the dual concept of Purity and Lust into something boring xd else.
But I dont think it can be easily replaced. You'd lose an element of the lore like why Dwarf have a very low-rate birth and why Elves are susceptible to corruption (in TLS world, sex magic)
The former lore directly tied into 1 of the harem story and reason to join the harem.

... on 2nd thought, you can probably just replace the duality with Light and Dark.. but where's the sex fun of that (is what Yarra would say) xd

Not to put you off, but the game is very long (kudos Sierra!), has a lot of intertwining parts, and a LOT of delayed consequences that you don't learn about until much later. It deals with a lot of politics, world-building, and trying to make everything more stable. If you're just here for porn then you'll have to earn it, but if you care more about solid writing and all the different parts of the world having an actual reason for being there, you'll enjoy your time. Combat can get pretty stale after a while, though, but you get like 20 different party members to combine, and later on they benefit each other in different ways when in the party together.

The main character is Simon, he's an old man that has spent his life as a soldier that suddenly gets god like power to fight other god like beings in massive wars while building a harem and an army.

P.S. he looks younger as the game goes on but not too much however he is no longer an old man he is an immortal sex god with the best Orc maid ever.

Did you extract the game to its own file folder or extract it directly from a WinRAR ZIP archive? I run mine from its own file folder and game play is still slow at times. Sometime it helps to refresh my computer and reload the game.

Mate it's not slow, it's stuck permanently.

Man, that's a big oof right there, I'll admit. Try check the autosave instead of your main save, I guess? But hey, look on the bright side- at least this way you can rectify anything you got wrong the first go around? Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
