Sadly, this seems to be put in ice.
The Dev didn't think that anyone likes this game, because unlike other games here there was no regular hate in the thread. We all silently liked it xD
Then came the rewrite and now it is not even mentioned anymore in the weekly update posts on patreon >.<
Conclusion: If we like a game, start a pointless shitstorm every few weeks

Jikage Rising just a dating sim trash.. Almost all Dating Sim are boring trash. This one had a story to it and is interesting but than he goes off and works on a boring dating sim. I am really tired of all the boring Dating Sims.

In case anyone is wondering, the lack of drama obviously isn't why the game got shafted. On his discord, Smiling Dog talked about how the pre-rewrite version only got roughly 120+ downloads. He tried to re-work the game to address some complaints but the rewrite version literally only got 31 downloads. So the game just wasn't popular pre or post rework. Shame cuz I liked it.
