It's not a release version, rather an early / test version that might have bugs, crashes and stuff like this.

the a,b,c,d in the 36B/36C/36D/36FINAL is usually put after version titles as 36 is the version with the added content while b,c,d ect are bugfixes for that version. note that others name it 36.2 or just say its version 37 as there seems to be no standard for this and is totally up to the creators.

TLDR: dont try to put too much thought into the version numbers
