i got it working fine when downloading it in steam, but the demo seems short, i think it just loops the moment you unlock the "dream" sex.

You can't. At least I didn't see a hose, if there is one - try walking into the pool and selecting the giant pipe sticking out on the right side.
You have to buy it first then a blue tube will appear next to the pool. After that you can interact with it but nothing comes of it.
have you looked at the environmental control panel? It's on the wall next to the observation window.

When I see this kind of thing in a game, I think I'm going to have to say I'll wait. Doors that replenish food. Yes.
So my alien died (turned invisible) and it granted me with the game crashing when I went to the next day.
(The alien suddenly turning invisible was probably a graphics bug tho)
