What's the song. I wanna put it in my swansong playlist.

A multitude of reasons, some of which I can't get into, but I'll try to explain what I can.
- The main character is monogamous and so is most of the cast.
- Story and ending structure wouldn't work
- Some characters really don't like each other
- I don't think I could execute it in a way that would feel satisfying for both the players and me.
- The game is more plot-focused, so managing the drama of a harem situation would clash with the urgency of what's going on
- If I did write a harem, I'd want to make it feel realistic, and, in my experience (on both sides of a "harem"), that would mean them being at each other's throats all the time, talking shit, sabotaging, power moves, etc. It's honestly feels more like animals fighting over a piece of meat than anything romantic. And I'd rather not write something like that

but I'm not sure that one fits her that well, I just heard the breakdown and your VN was the last one I played that had fight scenes

Your idea of a harem is a lot more interesting and appealing to me than what we get in every harem game here which is the usual extremely silly lovey-dovey shit, where everyone gets along and turn lesbian/bi because why not.

Well after trying this there's one thing that stuck with me the most and that's the fact how overly pathetic MC is, so if that was intentional then that's a job well done and in addition, the cherry on top- he seems to be the only virgin character in the game.
On the other hand story have some potential, don't really know what to make of attribute system without a deity it is mostly useless. Pardon me if I'm wrong on this but i stopped playing around halfway through because of aforementioned reasons.

Good luck to you dev.

While there are plenty of whimpy protagonists out there, i really dont get this line of thinking in a game like this. I dont want my protagonist to always be Rambo. We are suppose to play a down to Earth regular guy who is stuck in a world where there are supernatural beings, if he acted all like Duke Nukem I would be way more annoyed at it than what we have now. What we have now works just fine.

This game does not have a down to earth regular guy. How many guys do you know worship Aphrodite?
While being Emo and painted nails+black eyeliner rocker anarchist with a death wish, MC is a dupe.
Somehow, MC being both a fatalist rocker type waiting on the ultimate suicide/death
and a buddying wizard who knows the lore but lacks practice massively, he works being a punching bag.

PLay some more, choose between the two roommates - the vampire slayer or the succubus,
then exit right before MC stands up to a lovecraftian entity. This game ha s a ”exite-stage left”
premature ending you can do and be satisfied you done a full playthrough right till the very end.

The MC is very similar to his peers - those girls who stick to Silver-queen of the damned or to Invictus- Saruman,
he has this very frail persona and the same desire to stick it to them, just like Swansong and Marie confess
to in the last update.

I felt like that was pretty based.
Another playthrough coming right up!

Not the case. Alice and Selena are both virgins.
Cannot wait to make their acquaintance!

First off my character doesn't worship anyone because thats the option i chose. Secondly this is an extremely dumb point because i am talking about looking at the game from the perspective/setting of said game. No one I know worships Aphrodite because unlike in this universe gods and demons and Lovecraftian horros aren't real, a completely moot point. Finally i knew a FUCK TON of emos that looked just like this dude back in high-school. Most of them dont retain that esthetic long after high-school admittedly, but to me when you remove the supernatural element, this is just a regular emo guy.

This game starts with MC being a regular guy who gets another chance at schooling in a very exclusive
university complete with room and board, which is already something very far ”out there”
in the realm of utter fantasy for many people worldwide. MC is not ”regular” by a huge margin.

this is just a regular emo guy.
Then MC has these deep lore sermons he knows by heart, which he recites to fend off magical fiends.
Here the plot that was already out there by a huge margin, it takes off into the stratosphere.
MC has outgrown boarding school bu is still keeping his emo everything and ”playing bored”
to attract attention - despite his boasts that he wants to ”be left alone”.

Here we are, MC back to his high school moods, masks, mannerisms, ”cool vibe” he concocted for himself.

By now, we are already deep in the supernatural, both in the sheer ”dumb luck” of MC to score
a all in one all paid tuition contract with room and board with the actual scy-fy added bonus of demons, vampires,
vampire slayers, witches and wizards attending the same ”university” for deeper understanding of the occult.

First off my character doesn't worship anyone because thats the option i chose
Sure, let us go there, but by the end of this latest update
MC goes and becomes the follower/gimp/ghoul/worshipper
of the only goddess to show herself and save his sorry ass only after ”MC becomes hers”.
You might want that MC does not worship any god, but he does now and this is canon going forward.

Yes it's called being a protagonist, things tend to revolve around you for obvious reasons. I mean have you noticed how a bunch of protagonists on this website that tend to be average dudes for the most part, have a dozen different super model looking women falling for them? Really weird... None of them seem like "regular" people, what the hell is going on??? Someone must be pulling the strings....
I hope people pick up on my sarcasm here.

Yes the game is linear in some aspects because games like these are not as complicated as AAA RPG's like Baldurs Gate 3.

And I'd rather not write something like that
Harem can work if one of the LIs is a succubus. I doubt she will say no to more sex. *wink wink*
I think lot of people like a version of harem ending cause it's like a pokemon game, gotta catch them all.

On a serious note, it's your story; so write what you want but you will more people happy if one of the ending is harem :p

This is good. Caleb needs a smoking buddy. BTW, I've played games where the MC is a smoker, but then there's this game. Does the story end in lung cancer?

Thaks for understanding how silly the whole harem fantasy thing is.

While we wait for MC to actually summon his salvation,
as opposed to it being served up to him by plot armor shenanigans,
here be some game playing thoughts:
