I haven't tried the torrent, at least not yet. I can't remember which site I got the game download from, but I got the patch from VNDB. Could it be that I've patched it wrong somehow?

Possibly; I have the original rar myself with the translation notes and specific version of the game. If you try the torrent from here, "it should" work.

Re-read installation notes on the first post and follow the instructions. This game might require you to install Adobe Flash which has otherwise been discontinued. Win11 might not work, so I suggest to try starting with win7 compatibility. If none of these work, you are doing something else wrong.
idk if this would work but theres an application that allows you to play flash games, flashplayer 32.

Got bad news for you, last 6 years @Tinkle_Bell1 has been posting images and gifs on Twitter but we know where that's heading. As for news about next project: It's vague and sparse. There's a new game in the works but it doesn't look like ramped up beyond the initial development stage.

Hey guys, installation and all goes well, but I find one serious trouble: when I press Esc tryin open menu for save or smth like that the game and Adobe just shuts down. How you doing save in this game?

I remembered it wrong then. Good on you for finding it, but yeah, you can still replay from a certain chapter on in the recollection menu.

Hey guys, so couple of things:
1. If links are dead and you can't download, you are allowed to report a post and ask that links be swapped and new ones put in. Report > Other > "Links are dead"
2. In this specific case, the UploadHaven link is still alive, and even if the download page tries to scare you into getting their Pro feature, it still downloads very quickly without (10-15mb/s).
3. Maybe it's a question of locations, speed, and ports for you, but the torrent in the OP is definitely still alive, with 30+ seeders giving a good ~30mb/s of data.
4. If that first torrent doesn't work, you can alternatively use this one which while being on a 3rd party site, will connect you to some pretty beefy seedboxes that will get you your torrent in no time:
