Hmm..No one but Tess knows what her character is, simply because we've seen too little of Astrid in the game and it's hard to get a sense of her character from her brief dialogue with Seth. However, from indirect hints in the game and from Tess' own words, Astrid is an idealist. Also, as we know, she is the only one who openly opposed Alexander Karlsson's tyranny, for which she paid the price. We also know that Astrid is very intelligent and brilliant in her own way, although not as brilliant as her sister Veronica. Astrid's genius lies more in the realm of creativity (whatever that means), though she is also a scientist. Either way, we'll just have to wait for ep8, and then hopefully we'll be able to get to know her better.
But the fact that Astrid made a strong impression on Kiyomi, who is generally hard to impress, speaks volumes. I'm guessing that Astrid will be a solid ally for GoodDom Kane and GoodOlivia. And I wouldn't even be surprised if her soul turns out to be untainted by sadism and cruelty..We'll live to see, though.

I think you're confusing different games and it's worth a bit of clarity on that.
1.The future two games from Tess (one of which will be a conditional sequel to the events of KG). A whole team will be hired to create both games, and work on them will only start after KG is finished.
2. Recently there was an announcement of another game that is just starting to be created. But the thing is that this game is not made by Tess, but by MistressAnais (Tess's friend and her assistant in the work on the ep7 of KG). Tess' involvement in this game will be to write dialogue and some financial support for Anais' project. And yes, some of the ideas Tess gave Anais for her future game are Tess' own. As for Tess' own games, nothing has changed here. First the completion of KG and only then everything else.
BTW, based on what Tess answered me, I can conclude that the team to work on KG is likely to be increased in the future.
At least I saw another post from Tess recently where she is looking for a 3D lighting/shading specialist (for the KG team) and is willing to pay his/her salary.
