Another WIP that I will probably never finish. I guess posting those keeps me going!
I'm fully aware that I am very much on the noob side compared to some artists here (in this thread in particular, I look up to a bunch of you). But Something about this character makes me particularly proud. I'm finally happy with my Jett (Valorant) model, It took me a long long time to get her likeness right! hope some of you will appreciate.
(Model made in Daz, everything else in Blender)

Not bad, that feels more like an American Comic Style, than Anime, it's a nicer style, IMO. Would like to see how it handles a proper background of buildings & cars...All in all, a 8/10, a lack of background lets it down...
planning to do the hookah background later (see above), I taught myself the technique for a different project (a Pokemon artwork for my 6 year old nephew). but once that's done, i'm planning to come back to this.
I took inspiration from a comic book workflow I found online, removed the halftone texture, and tried to give the shading a bit more depth to get more of anime style (it's done simply by stacking threshold layers). I clearly have a long way to go, but I appreciate your feedback!

No matter how hard I try, the only way to get really clean lines is to trace them myself. I can draw fine but I'm not very skilled with a drawing pad, so just the model took me a while. A rich looking background will take me a looooong time, but i'll get aroud to it.
