I'm glad I stuck this one out and played it to the end. I found the beginning of the game kind of rough going and actually quit at one point due to the trifecta of sexual harassing creeps, sometimes awkward English, and certain aspects of the story that didn't make sense to me or seemed way over the top. (I still find myself wondering from time to time about what happened to Kiara's luggage, how Kiara styled Lana's hair in the clothing store without creating a huge mess, and how on Earth Jake managed to find the angle needed to photograph Mia and Mason in the shower from his position outside the house. With photography skills like that, he could be working for a spy agency or National Geographic instead of John!)
What won me over ultimately is the sheer ambition of the project and the great cast. People complain about there being a lot of characters to keep track of, but that's also what makes the world seem so vibrant and alive. I love that everyone in the game has a story and life of their own and I continually found myself getting quite involved even in story beats involving relatively minor players in the larger plot. There are characters I love and characters I hate, but I want to know what will happen to pretty much all of them...though when it comes to John I mostly just want to see a nice and gory death scene, the sooner the better.

Hey there thanks for the response , loved reading it as it shows you played the game fully and that's very much appreciated.
Now to talk on the changes , I think you're not on patreon but as you might've noticed after 0.5.0 releases next week we are on our break period where we're redoing chapter 1 in few ways to fix things , things like interaction between kiara and mia to be more spoken out rather than just bland .
The baggage and other stuff also gets taken care of in this new revamped script.
Basically the revamp will fix most of the things you mentioned early because we have a proper proofreader now as well and a better system for rendering.
Secondly , there is a day 3 being added in script to develop rose and few others (Salon staff and helena) .
About the tonal shift for lana we decided to do it only because she's been around damian.
The game dilemma of devotion will discover more of their past relationship but it's kind of a magnet thing where you remember how vulnerable you were with a partner that you cared for.
Now for the lesbian patch , don't worry we ain't discounting that one haha.
While we will do what you suggested obviously but in the lesbian patches we're planning to make some perverts and taka Female.
It's kinda why it's taking time.
Lastly , the vero john plot , eve and jake , aiden and others and lastly helena and jennifer will have their conclusive arcs if you've made the right decisions in the game.
So while kiara's story can end up just fine if you play the routes without crossing corruption ( upto point that the purple heart is filled ) but if you want others to work out as well for example and this is a little spoiler territory but nothing extreme.
If you don't handle vero and john well , despite a good ending eve and her won't end up together.
If you don't handle mason and mia scenes they won't end up together.
and so and so.
So variations and all the tools needed to let the story be affected are there for replay value , we just haven't reached chapter 3 for that.
It's kinda our idea of the whole game
Chapter 1 - Introduction ( which as i said we'll remaster the shit out of even if it needs 1000 more renders )
Chapter 2 - The story and where all of them lie at the moment.
Chapter 3 - Corruption / strength / romance
Chapter 4 - Conclusion.

If I were to rate this currently I would give it 2.5-3 stars max imo. I'm not going to rate it as this VN starts off very well quickly turns into a Romance mostly Lesbian VN with way to many characters.
If you are a huge fan of Lesbianism romance then this is 5 stars for you all the way. If you want a softer more romantic VN this is for you. It wont seem that way in your first 6-8 choices and scenes but after the great initial start it turns into a romance novels and every time some juicy potential scenes pop up, there quickly squashed and the romancing can continue.
I may duck back in and see if it improves for me in an update or 2 but for now this isn't for me.

Hey there thanks for the response ,While i can agree to disagree with most of what you said and it's completely fine since that's your opinion and i respect it but Um i'm pretty sure keisuke and damain are just as much part of the story as anyone else.
So I don't think calling this a lesbian only romance focused is accurate , it was at a point that even my patrons were like "where's lesbian? all i see is guys"
We balance it day by day basis , hence now what we do is One day with 4 events that include 2 male 2 female scenes , that's how its been since the start.
One last thing i'd like to say is my man girls mostly hang around girls.. , It's just how it is haha.
Although if you do want a corruption based playthrough since you said you'll come back , I would advice you to play from 0.5.2 , because that is when the jobs week start
