They don't look at all like the girls, but they are smoking hot notwithstanding!

Thanks, these are the shots I used for reference, so it gives you a better idea on the cartoon style I was going for, I wanted to make them look like superhero's, I was only doing cartoons recently as it's part of my final exams in a few months this year in uni, my way of keeping up to date and being ready for them

Well your art is splendid. Those are two characters worthy of having a VN built around them!

What AI model is that?
The girls?, Graphics tablet and photoshop and about 18 years of studying digital art since I was 5

The background was AI as that was Photoshop gen fill as I never made a background for the image, as I was just going to make an animated background and overlay on it

Hey, I see that there was a progress update on Patreon on the 14th. Is anybody able to share the text of that at least?

lookslike we get every 2-3 months a update if every update consist of 1 full day of the 30 days.
i'll be 5 updates a year in the best case. so in maybe 6 years the game is completed.
I need to correct this post, we're now at 1 day every 6~ months
Sad that this will never be finished, it's really good.
If we are serious, all 30 days release will be in around 12 years.
If dev does not lose interest in these 12 years.

Not a single line of dialogue feels like filler, it's all very well conceived which is sadly rare to see. So why ruin this impressive feat with a metric ton of spelling mistakes? I'm pretty sure even ChatGPT can fix this for free. Realize how important spelling is in a novel, dev!

Hey, I see that there was a progress update on Patreon on the 14th. Is anybody able to share the text of that at least?
The update on Steam was as follows:

"
The morning is mostly done, all that is really left to do for morning content is finish a bunch of queued animation renders.

I am working on PM renders right now, The afternoon and night for day 6 was a bit of a process, I knew what I wanted to do, but had no idea how to pull it off in Daz studio.

Daz doesn't like it when scenes get too large. And they are large. But was able to get it figured out and working without Daz freaking out on me. Trying to work in a big open area with a lot of props, buildings and people is a bit much for daz, but its working.

Other info - The house in day 6.

As most of you know, I have worked on increasing the quality of character shaders and skin design since the start of all this, while trying to avoid drastic jumps in changes in each day so its not a big noticeable difference. I think the skin is looking real good now, but it had a side effect.

While rendering in the house in day 6, the new character shaders and lighting just didn't fit and/or work well in the house how it was. I have wanted to redo sections of the house since the start of this, and upgrade its shaders, but some issues with the way the house was built made this a bit difficult, from 45 degree texture maps to random textures inside the house being linked to textures outside the house, Its a nice house, just doesn't do well when being upgraded or enhanced.

So since we haven't been in the house since halfway through day 4, if the house is going to be fixed, it was going to be now, So I did.

The house has a yard now, and neighbors, and grass... grass.. that was fun..

The walls have been upgraded with much better shaders, I spent way to long making a good drywall shader, I had some fun with stable diffusion creating new art for the walls.

While the kitchen layout is the same, the fridge area has been redone, The original fridge, cabinets, stove, etc. didn't actually function so we couldn't open the fridge, now we can, same with cabinets and the oven.

And the yard is a yard, pool is now visible from the house, I don't know if anyone noticed before but the pool and house were disconnected, the house's original yard was to small to support a pool.

so yeah, all that happened, I hope the almost 2 days away from the house in game will make this change less jarring, but it looks so much better, to me anyways ;).

Of course, all this happened after I already started rendering in the house, so I did have to rerender a good 200 images, but that's already done and past now, all in all, with the rerenders and house rebuild, it took about a week, so not to bad. "

It's been over a month and there hasn't been any update.

What worries me is this all for Day 6, it's not realistic to keep doing 1 day every 2-3 months and think this game is going to end up anything other than abandoned. The Dev needs to be putting out 3-4 days with every update. Even doing 3 days 3 times a year still means the game won't be finished for almost 3 years.

Worrying is not going to be fruitful for you, I'm afraid. It seem to be the nature of the beast now. This patron site "phenomenon" has changed the whole way creativity works, it seems. Most of these stories seem as if they're meant to never end.

There was another update on Steam after this, as a user posted the following:

"so the game came out july 2023 and by dec 2023 the dev has done 1/2 a days gameplay.
at that rate its 1 day of game play for every pjysical year. so with 14 and a 1/2 days of game play to make it could be anoher 14-15 years before this game is finished ???
thats a long time....
"

The dev responded with the following:

"Yes this game will be finished, and it won't take that long. Yes last year was a cluster F. Ill admit that, but things are moving nicely. Ill be posting an update this week on where we are at. But I am back on my 3 month cycle and this update will be out by the first week of march.

Now sure if the person above me miss typed, but I am 1 guy, with 1 person to help with writing.. that's it, wish I had people to help with renders, but I don't. But I also do know I have an issue with over rendering, I could easily tell this story in half the amount of renders that I do, and i am desperately trying to get better at that. First and foremost I am an artist, that's why so much effort and time goes into the art.

And if you actually go back and look, while yes, last year was a mess, I won't deny that. the year before was strong. 4 days in about 8 months. which was good, and that's the rate I want to be at, but I also do spend a lot of effort and time in the quality of the images, which is my biggest slowdown.
"

The above was 10 days ago, so we've already missed the "update this week", so I'd take the deadline of "first week of March" with a large dose of salt.

I wish some adult studio would open up and release adult games at high quality and relatively fast release. I've paid over 6k usd on regular games over past 10 years. I would not mind paying 60 bucks for an adult game that is completed with quality of treasure of Nadia, Being a dik. But then imagine a full studio would be able to make smoother animations, better renders, maybe hire some good writers.
