Hi, thanks for input. The reason I went with this artstyle is precisely because I wanted high quality animations that can be made easily vs typical "wooden" I see in other titles. The plan is for every erotic scene to include animations and thanks to my choice they can be made efficiently so I can produce a lot of content pretty fast with quality bar I want to hit.

Gallery is indeed in plans. Though I would wish to implement instead "flowchart" where players would be able to replay scenes and watch individual events rather than just individual animation. I think context to scenes is important and makes them hotter. After all no one would play adult VN if there is hentai or porn sites where you can go down to action in seconds. In those games each event is point on map that can be freely replayed or story started from that point with choices made with last save. My focus right now is on meat of game before I Implement it.

My favourite flowchart is in [ANIM] games. My other wish for game but that is very very very far away would be multiple POV much like in [ANIM] games.

Weirdly just today I think I found a method to get raytracing into VAM and I am currently researching it it is viable.



Depends what you mean. Game is around 2,5 hour long right now if you don't skip or read really fast. When it comes to erotic content. 3 sex scenes and 2 implied sex scenes. That being said I finished prologue of game which was fairly light in erotic content and now I am making main game which will have pretty much 1 to few sex scenes every update.

Schedule for releases for now is every two weeks but I am not sure about being able to keep that schedule as a lot depend on my IRL work.

Yeah I agree with that replaying events is a good idea. because yeah watching the animations without the context of the overall scene does feel pointless. I haven't actually heard of a flowchat but lots of VN's usally allow you to replay the entire scene/event and not just having animations being replayed. I like to know what content I missed based on choices. or is this more of a kinetic novel?

I hate those stuff janky animations also. I appreciate good erotic scenes in a VN with quality animations.

Yes the idea behind will be that it will "fill" up as you play and show you ???? events points showing that there are alternative scenes.

As you can tell from the title's version number, there have been some changes. Initially, the plan for v0.42 was to include 6 events (approximately 30-40 minutes in duration). When I began working on it, however, I discovered that those 6 events were not enough for an update. The update would be larger than previous ones, but it would leave you wanting more in the middle of the arc.

The second thing that occurred was that when I started writing the events, I realized that my rough script needed a revision. After reworking it, I managed to incorporate the entire arc into 9 events. While there are fewer events than before the revision, each event is longer and much better overall.

Instead of 6 events, there will now be 9 events. On average, they will be longer, and they will complete the whole arc. This is why I decided to change the version number of the next update: v0.49.

More about the update:

The "Mistake Arc" introduced in the previous patch v0.42 continues in this update, featuring new events and interactions between Mistress, Jack, and Sylvia. Your choices made previously determine which scenes you will encounter, leading to different experiences for each player depending on their decisions.

Initially, I planned to complete the entire arc in one update, delivering a total of 9 events. However, due to real-life work commitments and writer's block, I couldn't meet the deadline. Additionally, during my work, I noticed that my mindset was starting to drift towards cutting corners, which served as a warning sign for me not to exceed my capabilities to avoid compromising the game's quality. This life lesson has taught me not to set such ambitious goals in the future and promise things i can 100% deliver with extra stuff I could manage to get into update as a bonus for you

About next update after v0.45:

The upcoming release, version 0.49, will be available on April 12th. In contrast to previous releases that were released every two weeks, this one has a three-week gap due to some family commitments. Once I have taken a week off for rest, I will resume work on the next update and I will start to post dev diaries like usual, next update after that and other will go back to bi-weekly release schedule.

Next update will finish 'Mistake Arc' and will join together multiple pathways players could take through 'Mistake Arc' into one and will officially start swinging part of the game. It doesn't mean choices made in that part don't matter (they do !) but for a short short while there will be similar path before it starts to again split.

For v0.49 I plan to implement gallery so you will be able to see which scenes you didn't see with hints on how to obtain them. It is not a promise though, because I need to make sure quality of it is up to quality bar I want to reach. So if I won't be able to finish it by v0.49 release then it will go into v0.5x release.

I like the story and the choices does actually matter. The graphics are quite old but the animations are pretty good/detailed. I really want to give it a 5-star review, but let's see how the story will go from here. Nevertheless, so far so good.

Is the swinging mandatory? WIll it only be for current characters or will there also be additional characters in the future?

1. Main theme is swinging/romance but i do plan pure routes. But this is more like addition to main theme rather main theme being pure routes with addition of swinging.

2. There will be two more characters down the line but they will be only for one arc. This story is mostly about main 4 characters.
