So it seems apparent that this game doesn't lead to anything close to the community engagement that the original had. Why do you think that is?

As someone who hasn't played this one yet, I'm personally just waiting for the major routes to develop and corruption arc to progress enough. I'm not too interested in playing update by update on the set up and build up phase with characters we already seen throughout their whole arc in the previous game. Also, I just prefer the corruption of Laura's archetype rather than Aya's.

Personally, I always envisioned Aya as a secondary heroine that falls alongside Laura in the original game. The banner for the game since the very beginning was teasing at that outcome which never came. So this compartmentalization where Aya now takes the center stage just doesn't quite have the draw for me. I'll still play it once it's far along in development and I'm sure I'll like it, but I'm not really itching to play it every update, especially in the early stages.

Agree. Luca was supposed to take everything from the MC, including his friend Aya. Why this got cut out for a standalone game I don't understand. Then again, I haven't read a bunch of this board.
Speaking of Luca, who (in either game) does he wind up banging?

The dev should never have made Aya win against Luca in the first game.
It completely defanged Luca as a threat to Aya and makes it no longer an NTR game.
After all if the NTR guy doesn't win then it just becomes a vanilla game with a vanilla ending but with failed NTR in the middle.

Also as you said Laura's archetype fits the profile more for NTR. She even has a better initial design for NTR.
We get to see her go from serious office lady to depraved blonde slut.

Laura is also in a relationship with Harry already so her relationship with Luca hits much harder.

I think the dev should just do a prequel where we get to see how Luca NTRed Maya while Harry was in high school. Aya may be a lost cause at this point.

This series is overwritten by about a 100 times. Luca should got both girls in one of the original routes and then we move on to another game. But a lot seem to enjoy this series so who am I to argue.

Just hope this devs next game is a bit more efficient.

Maya's NTR was more coherent than Aya's, Luca was never able to beat Aya, this game is simply forcing Aya NTR, I clarify that English is not my language

Hard to say. Laura's NTR was pretty straightforward, even if HC did add a lot of stuff onto the various endings, it was still someone being dicked into falling. Aya is the same ........... but with a lot of extra added steps, and I'm not really sure if it's working. Because HC wrote Aya to be very self-aware, he is needing to write a huge amount of bloat in order to get her to fall, and it's still not really working. We can see this from how slow the pacing is despite the large word count.

The problem is that it doesn't feel like a slow burn either. I feel bad for HC because he puts a lot of care and effort into this, but I feel like half of what he has written can be cut and the story would be better for it. That is probably why there is very little discussion about this story. It is crawling despite the large word count updates. I think that by this time in Laura's route it was deep into their sex punishment game. As an eroge/NTR game this current route is uninteresting.

I have to disagree this is by far the best game HC ever created

this game is the pinnacle of his career we have a slow burn story and aya is perfect for ntr story

-good build up (you actually care for aya)
-cuddle/sex between mc and aya
-the antagonist cant get aya instantly
-aya actually ressist/try to ressit
..............


I think with laura we had no build up becasue they were already in a relationship so we as a reader had no build up between them

and laura was way to fast on lucas dick

hope HC next game goes into same direction with cute gf maybe college MC and love interest meet up and than a bully with slow build up ntr

hope HC actually learns from this game because ntr almost always has NO BUILD UP (so I dont care for the couple the emotional attachment is the most important thing in ntr)
