apparently you can't use the ch1 ipatch with ch2. Also usually ch2 unpatched can't use patched saves so until a new patch comes out those are all broken as well.

You can import your save files from Ch1 to Ch2 no matter what, even if you used the patch or not for Ch1.

Worked fine for me, even with the save transfer option at the start (A save that used the wincest patch). The only problem I can think of is that said person added the Ch1 ONLY patch to the Ch2 build too.

As stated in my post. chapter 2 will get its own seperate patch once Jo and the rest will arrive at Linda's place.

Loading data on Android works differently than in the PC build, that's a Ren'py thing.
I couldn't properly test that feature on Android, so if importing the metadata from CH1 doesn't work there you can configure a Custom World State and it'll work the same.

That's not how it works.
You need to play 1.00.00 and go through the Metadata Saving screen at the very end of the game.
Then you open CH2 and that button will be available.

You don't need to copy anything anywhere.

Ran into a bug in 1.0.0. Picking the moving on day 9 crashed. So I thought upgrading would help.

The first problem is that you "upgraded" ... Chapter 2 needs to be its own folder. You'll need to reinstall a clean version of Chapter 1 (in the tab below the main game links).

The second part is correct. There are no saves anymore 'cause it's technically a different game. To continue from where you left off, you hit Start, then if it can find your "backup" made when you completed the first chapter, it will give you the option to import that file. But make sure you've unpacked the zip in a new folder.

Yes, I had two separate directories. Why would I copy files over another one? There's nothing in having 1.0.0 and 1.1.1 that implies "separate games" though. Weird choice.

I assume they're separate for Android reasons.

You're the first person to report any error regarding that.
And that feature was extensively tested.
Posting the bugs and errors you're getting might help me get an idea of what's wrong with it.

Also, it's been said over and over, but you don't need to copy anything from CH1 into CH2.
