No. He's actually correct. That's an archer's glove. It leaves the thumb and index finger unhindered for better dexterity and protects the two fingers used to nock the arrow. The bowstring applies up to 90 lbs of draw weight for a longbow. That's a lot of pressure on two knuckle joints.
Bro, I thought you knew how to read? You took part of the convo and didn't finish it up with the second half that continued in another post. You need to be spanked. :ROFLMAO:

Why are there conversations we only hear one side of?

----------missing reply---------

Screenshot_2.png

Same thing happened with Aria and her conditions.

The dialogue is already tedious and annoying enough, what with all the "$renpy.pause(0.1, hard=True)" every other line and the weird "sayings" or idioms, do we really have to skip half of the conversation that seems like it might actually be important?

Speaking of the nonsensical sayings.

Screenshot_3.png

This isn't some profound idiom, it's something Hillary Clinton said, which was dumb then and no better now.

"Every moment wasted looking back, keeps us from moving forward." - Hillary Clinton

" Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. " is an idiom translated to English that is widely known and is the opposite of "not looking back in order to move forward" and actually makes sense, because it alludes to learning from the mistakes of the past, not ignoring them.

Still, that isn't as egregious as this;

Screenshot_4.png

What?
The first part seems totally nonsensical, like some sort of strange translation and the second part seems like a really poorly formulated question. "If we go by that" ... why would we go by that?
The whole thing seems like a weird translation error.

Screenshot_5.png

Another poorly formulated question, would be much better as "Do you know what I mean?"
But then he says he isn't asking if she understands the meaning behind the words, but it'd make more sense if he wasn't asking if she understood the meaning of the words because he clearly is asking if she understood the meaning BEHIND the words.

And why does it seem like this is a secret coded conversation when they are in private? Just say what you mean, these strange overly verbose exchanges are not only written in an odd way, they are seemingly out of character for the protagonist who we've been told doesn't speak much up to this point.

Just say "The plan is to seem like I don't know what I'm doing, to seem dumb or naive, in order to lull her into a false sense of security".
Simple, succinct, to the point.

Oh, this was good. Great graphics and interesting plot. Once we got it rolling. The beginning was bit slow and too wordy at times. MC and Lyria claimed to have been together for years, but only after that time talked about things you'd suppose they'd have talked within first couple weeks. Choices were often hard to decipher, as there wasn't big difference on what to choose.

Girls were lovely. Especially Aria, Lyria and Elvira. Truly great looking. Biggest graphical error I saw was

They must have spent minutes talking, but during all that time the girl on the background didn't move. And I got bit bothered by the lack on any armour on MC. I know it's fantasy, but still..

I really like the direction where game is heading. Harem of pretty girls while saving the world.

I noticed only one typo, so quality control was good:
Because what you're trying to do, is turn a sensless world that stands upon pillars...

ps. I suggest redoing banner. It's not very tempting. Add some of those hotties on it and game will get much more notice.

There, updated banner.

Well... ''saving'' is kinda saving-ish. It is kinda more on a darker end I'd say... but end result nonetheless is same I suppose.

Story, renders, characters all are good so far but the most important thing i discovered while plying this is Aria cracking me up constantly, which is something very unexpected to me because i usually dislike this kind of personality oriented characters.
Her bratty-bitchy face or her expressions in general and the way she says stuff with that face just throws me off, i can't take it.

What have you done dev? Need more of that.

On other note, some choices regarding LI's would be wonderful because so far the only choices are dialogue choices which does not differ much but they are appreciated nonetheless, with one exception at the beginning of the game, Lyria's bathing scene.
Other than that i don't have much to nitpick about, i'm liking the VN thus far.

Good luck and keep at it.

Was really a great VN until... Aria...
My first frustration is the exact same one I have with another VN: MC knows things the player doesn't. The player is supposed to be the MC and yet a lot of things are hidden from him, such as the details of the deal he made with Eris, her letter, or Aria's terms that MC found to be a bit extreme. It makes the story too cryptic in my opinion, and most importantly, it separates the player from the MC.
Mystic a question for you if I may: will all the LI forced onto the MC like Lyria and Aria? I won't complain about Lyria because I really like her, but I heavily complain about Aria, I wish there was an option to reject her (very simple to implement btw) because I can't stand her, her attitude makes her totally unattractive to me. And please don't tell me this is essential to the story that the MC fucks her, an excuse I've read too many times and always proved to be false.
Which lead to my second frustration: the lack of meaningful choices. For the moment, all the choices shown have zero impact on the story, so why showing them in the first place? You said:
the emphasis of this game is choices and story
Well, still waiting for choices then, the story is definitely there, not the choices.

I don't understand this logic. What would be the point in reading the story if you already know it.

they are trying to say the MC knows a lot more about things that have happened but were hidden or omitted by dev in such a way that we the players miss out on a lot of the details of things that happen.

*edit* meaning in normal VN storytelling they player is supposed to know EVERYTHING the MC does, and the player as an observer should be able to draw conclusions that MC hasn't been able to reach yet in the story. but this game is backwards and MC is drawing conclusions when WE have been deliberately kept in the dark on key info the MC uses to plot and make plans

Exactly, the dev uses a classic technique: a cut in the middle of an important conversation between the MC and a character, so the MC learns new things crucial to the story while the player learns nothing.

Am I missing something here? I have no trouble following this story or figuring out what is going on. This story does require something most other stories do not. You have to think . That is one of the points that makes this story good. If you are here for a quick fap, then forget about this game.

Well, Aria is either... you love her or you hate her. But it is what it is is what I can say.

Patience is a virtue friend, eventually there will be when it comes and only specific to LI's. But that is also tremendous amount of work on my part honestly, making sure that every LI has their own scene and player can pick. It isn't a matter of making a simple choice, it is a matter of pushing out hundreds of renders for each LI.

And at the present moment, I don't have means or time availability to do this particular task. So I must focus my attention elsewhere. But, I said it will be there. So it will be there.

wtf is with the rating lol.it looks like that guy is on a crack
Often they are.

A point we share in common, sadly, we're all different. No need to agree with one another, but I can respect that some people don't like it. But not much I can do there honestly without switching the way I do things, which I have no intent to do as I am aware at the moment. Because sometimes approaches like these are necessary, but that's just me. Once again, I respect individual opinions even if they're not the same as mine.

Sex itself isn't plot driving device for me, doesn't matter is it any of these characters. As for Aria, you love her or you hate her. Not much I can do there, and while sex with her as I mentioned is hardly plot driving, Aria's presence nonetheless carries heavy impact and focus in the story.

So sadly, you will have to deal with it. Or not if you chose so? I can't say much here friend.

But, do read up on what I said in response to others. Perhaps you find few answers there as well.

As for choices, yes, choices that you are looking for are available with the whole ''war table ops'' starting Chapter II... where you ( player ) can impact the world and state of it through said choices. Patience is a virtue once again, there's only so much I can do with two arms and myself.

Restricted time in life, and only one person doing it all, but doing best I can.

I totally agree with you about sex not being the main driver of a good story, so why don't you very simply please ALL the players by inserting a variable in the script to accept or refuse to have sex with her, easy peasy for you. It won't change the main story at all, Aria will still help the MC as a friend, not as a lover, and both lovers and haters of Aria will be happy this way. Forced relationships and forced sex are a big no-no to a lot of players, remember this my friend.

Mystic brother, what happened here? Lots of complaints about "silly" things, and about Aria?
Hell I know buddy, can't please everyone. And I gave up long ago honestly. It is what it is... I don't take any offense in any of it, but don't really bother that much with it either, if at all to be honest.

Aye, fair enough. I actually agree with you, now allow me to explain how I see it.

I don't see it as forced relationships or forced sex, I have one driving nature... and that is the story. When I create sex scenes or character interactions of any kind, I only do it according to what I BELIEVE is needed and should happen at specific parts of the said story.

I do not make it for sake of... oh bang this, bang that. I simply and really don't. Either way, eventually, I did intend to put in what you suggested... but I simply can't find time nor ability right now to deal with this. As I said before, this isn't about making simple values.

This is about me having to make hundreds of renders per each character uniquely so. And that ain't that easy. Especially with this piece of shit DAZ is as a software.

Once again I am telling however, it will be present in the game. At some point in the story, you will be able to pick who the main character has those sleepovers to call em such.

So in the end, you'll still get what you want. And possibly others if that's what they're after of course.
