So has anyone kept a good timeline of this game or remember it off the top of their head?

More specifically as in the average time between new update, bonus CG, and then a new update? Just curious if anyone is keeping track. Would probably be pretty easy to do but I'm lazy.

It's been around 3-4 months between the game updates for a while now, with the bonus content somewhere in the middle between updates. Note this is from memory, not actually checking the numbers in detail.

Yeah, that's about right. Supposedly they want to commit to going back to 2 months/update again now that they've done the team change, but we'll have to wait and see if that actually pans out. 0.7 was made entirely with the new team and took just as long as 0.5 and 0.6 did.

Newest version of JDMOD has an error where when accessing the bonus gallery. Says "The Mod was not installed correctly. You need to add the images from the bonus." I thought those were already included in the JDMOD?

It's all explained in the mod's thread, including how to install it - I collaborated with JD to provide an automated script to handle the task on windows, so it's easy.

Long story short, JD has a Patreon page now and distributing another Patreon page's material would have infringed the ToS, so you now have to download the mod and the bonus packs separately. The mod still supports them. You just need to take the proper preliminary steps, now simplified by the use of a simple script that reduces them to preparing a folder and double clicking on the script.

Thanks for the information. I hadn't checked the thread since new years tbh.

If you've done all these things and it's still not working, use the console command "jump orccampphase2_end" to force the event.
I'm sorry, but I can't get it to work EVEN when using the command.
And, as far as I know, I have done every other quest: I don't have any conversation waiting for me and all raid markers have been removed. And I am at 120% Kentark training.

My problem may be with "Fully train Sabia's troops", but I suppose it means "at the Training Grounds" and I don't have any more option to train troops at this location.

Any idea how I can further progress in the story?

There are actually two more places where you train Sabia's troops: In the camp outskirts you do some drills and promote one of three choices, then at the purple marker labeled "base encampment" you get another option to either give them a pep talk, or you can let them gangrape Elmy if you enslaved the catgirls. You need to do both of these events for Sabia's squad to be fully trained.

If you can't do these, or if you've done these and still can't progress the game, upload your save file and I'll take a look.

I have already promoted the warrior and used the pep talk (I definitely did not enslave the catgirls).

Thank you for taking the time to check this.

Oh, talking about the base encampment... Is there any point to test formations? I randomly organise my various troops, then click on "Exit" and...that's it? Is that a feature that will be implemented later?

Alright, so I went through all the variables that are checked to advance the story, and was very confused that they were all at the correct values... so I rested in the tent just to test it and sure enough, it worked.

So the only thing I can think of that could be causing this is your copy of the game is broken somehow, or you're running an old version by mistake. Redownload and unzip the game and try that. You should just have to go to your tent and rest. If you get the message "For just a moment, Sabia thought she was back in the middle of the minotaur war", you know you're in the new content. If that doesn't work, then I'm stumped.

The way the raiding system works is, it's a stat check against the combined total stats of all the troops you assign to a particular "task." Testing formations just lets you mix and match troops to see what their various combined stat totals are. It doesn't do anything else.

Just to expand on this, make sure to delete/move/rename the old folder before extracting the new one, it seems like overwritting sometimes causes issues with this game, I had the same problem when I first downloaded the 0.7 content.

That was exactly my thoughts when I read Viressa's confirmation that everything should have been working. I did this and it worked perfectly. I just finished the new update thanks to this action.

So, thanks to the both of you for the advice (and the info about the formations).

Not that it matters, cause it stinks an awful lot like the raiding system is gonna be scrapped anyway. Which, I'll admit, is one thing I won't miss. It's an overcomplicated, underdesigned mess. So many numbers that don't do anything but add noise to the system, and the actual causes of success and failure are completely opaque unless you open up the game code to figure out what you actually have to do to succeed at each raid. Not to mention how you can completely fuck yourself if you make "wrong" story choices (poor, poor Solo Sabia route).

is it confirmed that it gets scrapped?

Well, no, I'm just inferring based on the direction of the last update. No new raid missions at all, and several of the choices you make that affect the raid system are overridden (for example, you're railroaded into freeing the catgirls, regardless of what other choice you made before).

It's also clear to me that the new team is interested in a very linear, focused story. There are no choices to make or branching paths at all in 0.7 except for the ones that lead to bad ends.

A more linear story is exactly what they need, after almost two years of updates Sabia is still stuck in the orc camp...
The world map they showed once is massive, can't wait to explore it.
