True But no big AAA game ever run my gpu so hot that some small unity games did. Most of the times you can force vsync but not always.
And there are plenty of games on unity that i love (Shadowrun series, and Slay The Spire comes to mind) and they work flawlesly since clearly competent people were working on it; but i always have "refund" option on hand when buying game on unity when it happens to try and kill my PC for no reason.

Oh and this is not a hate on dev of this game or anything, if he done things properly (and from what he said he probably did, so sorry @Winterfire if it seemed i was personally attacking you or the game, that was not my intention) it will work fine and i will be glad to play it... i was just burned by this engine so many times im instantly weary when i see game on it. I guess i just see Renpy as a perfect engine for those type of games from my standpoint.... but hey it could be worse, it could've become RPGM game :p
It is not my game, I just use/like Unity so I just wanted to point out that most faults are not by the engine itself but devs.

I suspect that is done on purpose as they do not aim to be "Romance games", in fact, Western Games seem to rarely focus on romance whereas Japanese games (at least AAA ones) do.

My guess is that since romance requires character development and therefore a lot of time spent on that, most people would quit on it since the demand is quick hentai.
Japanese games follow the same rule of thumb, though. Regardless of how many hours you spend romancing a girl, once you get her into bed, the game usually ends shortly after (with a screen or two of "after-story"). Nukige's, although filled with sex, also end abruptly after some "event" is reached (e.g. pregnancy).

These are all generalizations, of course, but only one exception comes to mind. Nor do we see continuation or sequels the way we do in other genres. (Zelda, for example.) It's always "on to the next conquest" because "a girl is no longer interesting once you know her." To be fair, I see the same thing reflected in real-life relationships, which is a pity. People get bored with each other because they don't know how to keep things interesting, and then they break up. Maybe that point is the real cause for all of this?

Idk if you can call it a triple A, but I bought "Cities Skylines", when it came out as I was a fan of Sim City like games. That game run on Unity and it almost fried my computer. I had other unity games tax my system heavy as well, but then there have been those that ran smooth. So can't really blame the engine itself imho.

RPGM games can sometimes surprise you in what the creators able to push out of it though. There is good and bad RPGM games. Hate on it adult games I think comes from a lot of clunky stuff that isn't really needed. Or a overly huge game world. If you take a game such as "Lust Epidemic" it works fine.

Even those are more fulfilling as there is a whole "Journey" to get there, luckily some do not stop right there but they do continue but at that point you always know it is "close to the end", that's very true.

The biggest disappointment I probably had was Majikoi S, I was hoping it would continue some routes after the ending but eh... Not as I had expected.

Drop to medium or below and game hangs up like crazy. Update is meh i have no idea what i am doing zero help and just wondering around trying any old thing. DO not advance time until you are sure you have everything done. Update = total mind fuck

I played Japanese games where you could end up with blue balls and a walk in the rain to put it like that, because you didn't do things right :p But tbh, its not a bad thing a game have a start and a end (even with multiple endings). Saw some documentary once in regard of the adult industry in Japan. It touched on adult games where it was mentioned the consumer used the media to feed on (get outlet for) emotions they wouldn't get in rl or something along those lines. Maybe why the romance part play a greater part over there, idk.

To many games seems to get drawn out to long with an almost never ending line up of characters to bone. Idk if that is due to creators afraid of wrap up the game/story and start something new (patreon income and such). Because even you might have success with one game, doesn't necessary mean you will with the next. And you can't really make a blue copy of your previous game either. Even the old man himself, Larry Laffer the lounge lizard, knew when he reached his limits :p

Hmmm i have never had any issues running unity like ever. Your gpu should never get taxed by unity. So my question to you is what gpu are you running and in the gpu settings in bottom right corner of windows if you have that utility are you using default profile? Because i found that creating a profile purely for unity engines helped alot. My gpu never ran hot did stutter a tiny bit tho and that was due in part to unity being completely gay limiting the amount of gpu resources it could use and my profile allowing games to decide what they use. You also find with some unity games they are the complete opposite and use way more resources than they need again easy fix by creating a profile that allows the gpu to decide whats best. I will be honest i have never ran a game with the default gpu profiles as there all just aweful. gtx 1080 ti 11gb sli is what i run and the damn utility default profiles limit the heck out of what the system can use.
So check your gpu profiles and see if thats the issue if not get rid of the potato you are running and get a proper pc lol

1050ti, unity is just shit no reason to defend it :p Just google "unity overheating" and you will find plenty of posts from many years with same issue... Heck i know a person that had his 1070ti broken by Battletech (thankfuly it was fixed under warranty) before they finaly implemented vsync.

great update! awesome really.

anyone know how to get mimi? (someone said that this was one combination
Get Alice drunk (don't know if she has to be double drunk or not) and then go home with her at the end of the party. At the scene in the park do not fuck the other girl and when you get home Mimi should be on the couch.

This game was previously known as "School, Love & Cousins". Due to Patreon's crackdown on incest, characters are no longer related.
SIGH!!!
Why the hell are they cracking down on make believe incest between pixels?? Between zeros and ones?
What the fuck is wrong with these people? Does someone have to explain to them that characters in video games are not real? That they, due to being code, are not capable of having deformed offspring?
I am morally outraged!

why Unity??? The interface sucks ass and there is to way to skip! Grrrrrr I liked this game too. Now I keep missing the reply of the MC as it is just in the grey box you click to advance convo. Annoying +++
That was one of my favorite games, even if the engine was bad. Unfortunately, the game with Unity is already deleted... It's a pity

Sometimes I do not understand developers who only make their game worse with such changes

You know, in the name of being political correct. Doesn't matter if you can go down to the local bookstore (if you have any such) and buy incest themed literature. On the other hand, there is creators that bypassed have Patreon act as creative director of their work. Either by patches, unlock codes. Have the user decide relations of characters themselves and so forth.
