It's been a week since release and I am blow away with the positive reviews, the words of encouragement, and the lively discussions here in this thread. I've posted some things here and on my profile page but I wanted to consolidate everything with the status of this project.

I'm not sure how long ago this project was born but I casually worked on the script, character creation, world building, and test renders, for quiet a while before ramping up into 'production mode'. I released this as v0.2 to signify it is approximately 20% complete. The number I think is fairly accurate, maybe a little high. The entire story is plotted out, including the ending, it's just a matter of rendering it out. The first release was 5k images. I have another 2k+ in the can already for future scenes. Most of that will be in the 3rd release. The 2nd release is mostly new material but I'm actively working on it, and will contain about 3-4 game days worth of story. 3 days is going to take a toll on our weary couple, trust me.

I want each release to be of similar size as the first. I think quick, short updates ruin the immersion but I understand getting bored, frustrated, and forgetting about games with long update cycles. I don't want to promise a particular cadence but I'm setting milestones for a 4month update cycle. Sorry if that pours water and everyone's fire but compared to some of my favorite games, 4 months doesn't seem excessive to me.

Let don't exaggerate. This isn't a serious novel, just a porn story in the NTR (only?) style. But it's a very one-dimensional style with a short shelf life. For example, if the first night of betrayal was pretty good, then the toilet scenes were formulaic, banal and boring. And let's not forget that NTR is based on humiliating the MC. If something like this isn't part of a larger story, but the only story to tell, then over time this humiliation will reduce the MC to the role of a stupid, defenseless kitten, beaten with an iron crowbar. And really, few people like or are passionate about such stories. Not to mention the fact that such a story is predictable and simply boring. I wonder if the author knows about it and takes it into account.

No, NTR doesn't necessarily mean the husband or MC in this case must be humiliated. It is not a one-dimensional style and can take on a variety of nuances and emotions - more so than a harem game. NTR is not always, and most times isn't, cuckold. This is a common misconception. Very few games on this site have delved into such emotions as this KN. You do it a gross disservice as I suspect you dislike NTR and have to shit on this one. We get it. You don't like it.

I don't know if a woman cares much about the feelings of her husband when she cheats.
It would be hypocrite if she continues to cheat and tells to herself that she cares about her husbands feelings. (who looks like a picture of misery)
Vivian should have quit the affair on her own when Hutch made the proposal to open up the marriage. (this was the last exit before it gets really bad)
She must be naive if she thinks it does not have any consequences along the way.
It hurts the husband in the first place and later she gets hurt, because the marriage will be destroyed beyond repair.
It's like a boomerang, she has the fun now and later the pain.
She will get dumped by the husband and lover.
Vivian should not have cheated in the first place, but otherwise we would not have a game.

Emotions aren't black and white. A person can have conflicting thoughts and feelings that can hurt the people close to them, despite their love for them. Yes, Vivian should have stopped the affair, but with the mix of her husband's job struggles and her own deep desires, her decision isn't so cut and dry.

I definitely think she's a hypocrite for cheating on her husband twice now, despite telling herself this is a bad idea and she loves her husband. I don't think she's naive, I think she understands the potential consequences, but she's acting against her better judgement. Remember, during her conversation with Hutch, she was telling him she didn't want to do this, but Hutch kept telling her to do it because he could see she was lying to herself. I think they both understand the consequences, but they've decided to make the bad decision.

I agree with the boomerang metaphor - I think Vivian will have a lot of fun at first, but a lot of pain will come later. It will probably be all pain for Hutch. As the story progresses, I can only imagine the situation getting much worse for Vivian and Hutch.

While I agree that NTR authors and readers typically put the genre into a box, requiring certain things to happen, I don't agree that's all the genre has to offer. I think this VN itself has changed the dynamics of NTR within its first release. For example, the husband isn't oblivious and found out straight away, and the wife later realised her husband knows, which now requires them to navigate this situation in a way that I don't think many other NTR VNs have done.

Vivian and Hutch's inner turmoil adds a deeper layer to the story, rather than it being the stereotypical slut wife and dumb husband.

Also, I personally disagree with your opinions on the two scenes - the first night of betrayal was so hot, and showing it from Hutch's perspective only made it that much more distressing. While the toilet scene wasn't as hard-hitting, it focused on Vivian's inner conflict, rather than Hutch's distress, which I think was great.

So yes, humiliating the husband is part of NTR, but this has done it uniquely already.

This is a different type of humiliation all together. it is one of emotion / feelings / love. All the pain for Hutch is dome in his presence but not so much in his face. He think and here's she loves him... yet she goes off and cheats... It is definably not one of a physical nature to make him do things... like ware a cage or clean someone out....

To address the issue of the 'unseen' seduction of the female lead by the antagonist, it was obviously intentional to leave you wondering what happened. Why could just a devote wife succumb so quickly, so easily? Did he really just threaten his job? Is she just a slut who drops panties for any alpha male? Others are just disappointed they didn't get to see a sexy scene. There is lots of story left and these are addressed in time.

Honestly other than a undeniable death threat against husband or son, nothing would justify how quickly she dropped her panties - and the followup gaslighting. Everything else could and should have been discussed with Hutch at her earliest convenience - "oh but you're not allowed to tell him." That would be lame.
Did Christian somehow miraculously found out secrets about her? Some "revelation" about her past to her husband, is he going to find out she's a cheat? Well the whole wold knows that now. Maybe she committed some other crime? Too unrealistic. Had sex with the son? Seriously wont fit the story.

I guess time will tell, hopefully the next update will shed some light.

But do keep up the good work, and hopefully surprise us with something nobody thought of.

For me personally, it's the stereotypical whore wife. I wouldn't think so change her just once in the backyard (you could even come up with some really good reason for it, but 22 years of marriage and here she is already fucking...), but she does it again, all night enjoying it. Then she makes the choice of doing it in the loo again. Then she makes the choice again of agreeing to an open marriage and a job. Seriously? Up to this point we're shown how authoritative she is in her conversations with Hutch, how she controls him, and here she so easily agreed because Hutch asked her to? Why didn't you just listen to him and stay home? Why didn't you listen to him then and go home after the first fuck with the Boss (apparently he was that good). So yeah, that's typical wife whoring to me.
Even the moment with the son and his roommates: bitch, they're making fun of your son, he's not enjoying it, and you're letting them flirt? It's your son, you may not like your husband, but it's your son, your blood. Vivian to me is the most disgusting character here.

For the most part, yes - I mean you get coughs at least when Vivian is being throated in the kitchen. I think the sounds through the closed door were very well done though, even with just the muffled talking before they started getting down to it.

Like the dev wanted you to sense the sexual emotion. You see her enjoying it. When you cant see her you hear how much she enjoys it. You see her face as she getting off and then you hear her getting off and you can also feel the MMC emotions while its happening.

There's only one way I can see, why Christian can blackmail Vivian so hard in the garden. Hutch is not the biological father. The son (Sawyer) is a milkman or mailman's kid .
Christian finds out, who the real father is. Vivian can't tell Hutch the truth, because Hutch's world would fall apart if she did. Vivian is caught up in Christian's games (Escort?) and she is starting to enjoy it. It becomes an emotional rollercoaster.

Further observations and speculations.
1. The blonde with long hair in Christian's bed could possibly be Vivian's sister or a college friend? maybe she told Sawyer Problem.
2. The 2 brothers Taylor and Tyler) learn that Sawyer is a cuckoo child and also blackmail Vivian. Maybe they are Christian's sons? They have similar looks and character traits.
3. First meeting at Christian house with Vivian and Hutch, Christian shares in the office in front of all the staff (Address, Time).
Addison knows about the meeting and watches everything from the window (maybe photos?) 2. The company toilet sex she also watches from the window. Addison feels sorry for Hutch and comforts him, maybe more.
I think only Addison can save Hutch.

When Christian calls Vivian at night, there's a couple of renders showing him, and one of them has a blonde lying next to him who a lot of people think is Addison:

Side note, but following the theory that it is Addison, it could explain some of the Addison/Hutch moments later. She appears to be asleep here, but perhaps it is Addison, and perhaps she wasn't actually asleep but could hear everything Christian said in the phonecall. It would give a bit more to the "Addison knows what's going on" theory as well.
