So why does the Jill mushroom path exist?
If you can only eat one with DIK affinity, then there's a number of scenes with Jill while high that are impossible to see?

Hmmm the achievement guide I used to get neutral route said not smoke weed. Ah well, there go my neutral Jill saves and about an hour in season 3 on her route. I thought just neutral would be enough for the mushrooms.

You can be neutral and do mushrooms, just smoke at roof.

Season 3 brings dynamic choices. Really liking this.

Neutral weed = mushrooms

Neutral puncher = Vinny and Oscar punch

Neutral no puncher = calm situation with Patrick

Neutral something? = Heather blowjob (is this related to Jade?)

I do wonder though,

Why would Jill still be so sad if you're solely on the Bella route? I did a DIK run where I went negative on Jill everywhere I could (except if it would also give negative to Bella), but I still got this scene and her not reaction to Bella for a while.

You would think she wouldn't care, or was she just pissed that she spend cash on coffee/hot choco/whatever are in those cups for nothing?

Maybe I should have replayed my paths from Season 1, not Season 3 and I wouldn't have these brain farts.

I know, but like I said: The guide I used that gave me neutral Jill, said not to smoke on the roof. Just because of this I need to do a new complete run (I don't want to use the mod), just to get the mushroom event on Jill's route.

I can't remember exactly it was quite a long time ago. I can have a look tomorrow and see (sorry, I don't have time tonight ). Macky009, did it recently, he might be able to remember how to make it work.

So you're saying DIK jill isn't possible without URM? Because after the invite to the dinner you only get two more major choices, which doesn't seem to be enough.

It was a trial and error for me, what I did is follow the walkthrough where I can monitor the points added or subtracted in my dik and chick affinity until episode 8. The hardest part is the major choices because we also need to choose a chick choices that could deduct your permanent dik status. You should choose wisely here. Also you should monitor your progress during freeroam what is your current affinity. During episode 9 to 10 just choose all the possible dik choices. Also smoke the weed on the roof

Which guide are you using?

For the steam achievements (from which I got the neutral Jill), I used the guide from Pielikonu on Steam, which is (close to) the optimal route for all achievements.

For every other route to get in season 3, I'm simply using the official guides. I've looked up for different guides on how to get, but I can't seem to find any on steam for this.

Because since you get a permanent affinity at the end of S2 (or even early, if you constantly did CHICK or DIK choices in a row) with Neutral affinity you always have a "Neutral" option and the other one (DIK or CHICK) is shaped according to your previous behaviors. If you've been fighting a lot - you'll always have an option to "punch" someone (Oscar, Vinny). But even THIS options depends on specific conditions. You need to fight with ALL (Both with Jocks AND Tommy) to be able to punch Vinny. While conditions to punch Oscar is less strict (you have to fight with only one of them - Jocks/Caleb/Tommy). It's probably for the good in Vinny's case, but it also blocks you in Patrick & Maya scene... you can't "save" Maya if you're Neutral and a "fighter". Same goes to drugs. if you ended up with Jill, have a Neutral affinity and smoked weed with Quinn back in EP4, your choice of doing shrooms in EP10 will work the same way - you will always have a Neutral choice, but Chick or DIK option will depend on how you behaved previously. You'll be able to eat shrooms if you smoked weed. This will lead to an extended scene with Jill at BBQ party and also will lead to an addtional choice (to give her a promise not to do it again, or not to give her such a promise). Neutral aff is quite exciting in terms of MC personality shaping and getting very specific scenes and outcomes, while being on the "edge" of almost impossible conditions.

I've got a feeling that any fling with Bianca (if she is indeed a side path of only Jill route, what I expect) will depend on being on more of the DIK side of neutral. For example:

- Used shrooms and making no such promise
- Kissing with Riona during the halloween party (while chosen for Jill)
- Choosing "maybe in the future" with Heather (during Halloween)
- Touching/flirting with Bianca at every moment possible during Halloween
- Etc.

AKA, chose all lying/infedelity options possible while on the neutral Jill path.
