The plot barely even exists, we're just following four skanks at a particular moment in their lives. Siren was updating basically every 3.5 months and was relying on holidays as a reason to add scenes. I understand that making a plot up on the fly might be tedious but c'mon... we were only getting 2 full scenes (maybe) and 1 mini scene with these updates. Could of just kept milking it and said "we'll do 1 holiday/season scene and 1 plot scene with each update" to divide the work and save the labor.

What other plot is there really for a game like this? We liberated all of them, then dominated them. All we need to do now is break them, shape them, and then bring in more deviants into the fold by taking them through the same cycles.

Were we actually looking for good stories? Is that why we waited around as long as we did for this game to end?

That's an extremely dire way of looking at things. Especially with a creative with a track record of completing projects.

We should praise devs that manage to keep scope reasonable rather than endlessly bloating their work until they abandon it due to burnout.

I was finally able to finish this game. It was one of the first I started playing, and I'm glad they completed it and didn't just play one of the other games that had a lot of potential and were abandoned.

Plot, characterization, and control are the only advantages porn games have over short ~1 minute long plotless hentai videos.
People are willing to put up with a lot for those benefits.

A game that fails to deliver on those benefits is inferior to just opening up certain sites and just fapping to rando animation that is very much higher quality graphically than what we see on F95 game section.

And yet that's not this game. The story is shallow, the characters are shallow, and at best this game is (as well as most others) an edging simulator that gates your Os with a little bit of grind mechanics that hopefully don't frustrate you enough to not play. Besides, scrolling through a lot of the insane conversations that seem to happen a lot here - most people regard each other as mindless pay pigs who are getting milked for slop. If they're even paying.

You see the games that are being produced - almost all are low hanging fruits and reflective of this.

Don't get me wrong, high quality and uniqueness all the way, and don't reply to this as though I said "why are plots important at all" which is how it already feels its being replied to as - I just don't think this is one of those games. I think this is a pay pig kind of game.

I think you are a bit too harsh on this game. I am not saying the game is perfect.
But it sounds like you are rating it a bit too low.

Regardless, not every game is going to be good at leveraging the potential advantages of the medium of games.
Not every game is guaranteed to be good and successful. Most games are quite bad actually and are also going to be financial flops. Because they fail to deliver.

Tbh I'm just shooting the shit and playing devil's advocate - it's not as though any of this harping is going to achieve anything.

New Game | Early Details


Hey everyone!

Artwork has officially begun on the next project that will be eventually the 'main' project on this Patreon page! Today, I wanted to talk a little more about it as well as my plans between this new game & House Chores.

== New Project ==

I've mentioned in previous posts but this new game project is very, very early in development. Even the character in the silhouette is unfinished at this time. But, this character will be central to the new game!

With this new proJect, my goals are to explore more in the same 'realm' of House Chores but I wanted to go outside of the neighborhood with this particular story.

One detail I'll share now is that this story actually takes place before the events of House Chores.

In order to keep the scope of the game a little shorter, the game (at this very moment) is only intended to focus on one major character. Rather than 3 like in House Chores. But, the neat thing is that I can see areas or opportunities for expanding on this projEct if myself and players really want to see that. House Chores was originally only meant to focus on Linda, and we all know how quickly that changed...

I want to keep many of the elements that House Chores is known for while still keeping the game smaller scale. So my goal is to tell a story that is a bit more linear but still has some sandboxy parts to it.

All in all, I'm incredibly excited to really dive into this game! I can't wait to start sharing more updates! However, there is a lot that needs to be done still so that first update may still be a few moNths out.

== House Chores ==

As a reminder, later this month, a small update will be releasing that adds a couple of small new interactions. There is no new art with this update. Very simple!

Later this year, I'm still planning on releasing an Epilogue update! Just a short update that will add a little more content after the main story events are over. Again, this won't be a massive update but should add a little more 'group' fun!

But looking at 2025, the new project has a way to go. So I think my plans are shifting a little bit. Currently, I want to split some of the upcoming work a little more evenly between HC & the new game.

What this means is the new project may take longer to get off the ground (Autumn season?). But that wait should be padded by some additional content in House Chores! This could change, everything is very uncertain at the moment. But I figured I'd give you all an update just so you have an idea where my head's at.

Am I the only one to notice that the random letters in capitals spell JEN, as in Jennifer? Maybe that's the name of the character in the silhouette?

House Chores Content Update | Progress Report


Hey everyone!

Today I wanted to update you all on how everything is moving along. Things are constantly changing right now so I felt that keeping you all up to date would be important!

== House Chores Content Update ==

Last month, I announced a small update would be coming soon to House Chores. Most notably, a bug fix for the Emily scene that has the black screen. (As a reminder, that black screen is a small bug, you aren't actually missing any content!)

April wound up being a bit too busy to make proper time for this update, so instead, I'm going to postpone this update and make it bigger & better!

This update will now feature some new NSFW content with at least one scene for Emily! I'm hoping to squeeze in at least one more scene as well if possible.

Keep in mind, this is not the Epilogue update. That update is planned to release later this summer!

== Release Window ==

I'm planning on this update being released in May or possibly June. June is a little more likely as I'm currently releasing updates for my other game projects in May as well.

Luckily, that just means there's more time to try and squeeze in more content!

I'll update you all once I have a better idea myself!

Sorry for a month of progress reports! I hate not delivering with new content in a reasonable time so I'm hoping to start getting new updates & content out for you all as soon as possible!

How do I use some of these? I tried Downloading some and inserting it under the option when I click on my PFP, but there doesn't appear to be an option to insert it from my computer's downloads.

Right click then copy image address, then go to your profiles signatures, press on the icon that looks like a photo then paste the address
