While I like the game....Theres no way in hell I'm gonna drop 80$ for it. Hell I won't even spend 35 for it. The most I'm willing to spend on any VN is 20$. Probably only has a few ppl in that tier, making it easier to weed out a leaker. Effectively making sure there is no leak for as long as possible.

If you got all that from what I said, I’m not sure what to tell you. I wasn’t comparing apples to oranges. I was simply saying that $80 for an adult game is outrageous. Even Being a DIK, which is arguably one of the best in the genre, is just $14 on Steam. So no, I’m not making a comparison. I’m just pointing out that this pricing is absurd.

It doesn't seem to stop them from having tiers with $150 monthly payments...
It's not the final price of the game, it's just one of the support levels. The minimum $5 is the same as BaDIK. So what you're talking about is absurd.

Yes, I am aware of the support levels. However, the number of people who would pay such an absurd price can be counted on the fingers of one hand.

I'm pretty sure the reason it is $80 it is unfinished build, as it only has the romance bit, not the full episode 15. Some devs do insane high price on betas to hope it doesn't leak and then people bitch about it being broken.
The painful truth is that prices are going up because there are in fact many people who have the disposable income to pay them. It doesn't matter if it's UFC tickets or porn games.
I would think it also could annoy base-tier patrons enough that some of them might pool resources, create a fake profile, then leak the overpriced product.
