The compability of OS with RPGM is based on the version of RPGM ... since Win7 is dead (by MS) it´s no longer supported by new versions ...
Are the new versions of RPGM actually incompatible? Because I have not seen it reflected in the new RPGM content coming out.
made patch which replace nwjs compatible with win7 and remove steam engine from usage in the game. This patch for steam version of the game, unpack and replace.

Thank you.
Seems to work. Is the game supposed to say "v1.00" on the title screen?
I was under the impression there were some updates post-release.
win7 is still used? im bout to get kicked out of 10
A long time ago, when I was a wee lad, my computer popped out a notification offering a free upgrade to windows 10. It was pushy, annoying, and almost caused me to lose my workflow before I realized what was going on.
I did not appreciate that, and felt disrespected. I have since sworn off upgrading Windows until they begin respecting their customers again. As you are well aware, they went in the opposite direction. I also genuinely like Windows 7 and how it works.
I tried linux, and while there are versions that look like Windows 7 on the surface, that falls away once I open the file directory. And since the file directory experience (and wow, turns out I've been taking .exe extension for granted,) is my favorite part of Windows 7, that rather soured the whole thing. Annoying mandatory passwords need not apply either. When researching online on what to do about that, the consensus seemed to be "Yeah, it's a different OS, no, there's nothing you can do about it, the whole ballyhoo about being able to modify anything in Linux was a bit fucking lie. Only cosmetic changes allowed."
So here it still is, still chugging along. So far, it's been pretty alright. Chrome no longer bugging me with notifications has been a boon, and there haven't been any important programs that refuse to work, at least as older versions. I did install VirtualBox some time ago though, having a bunch of spare RAM is nice. I fully expect by the way a group will pop up in the not too distant future to retrofit Windows 7 and keep the system churning for another decade. Actually I haven't checked in more than a year, gimme a moment...

Wew, based Chinese, taking the torch from the Russians. For all the issues with their culture, blessed be their hackers. Will be interesting to see what their and similar teams come up with in a couple years.
On a serious note though, anyone know where it is possible to get some expert assistance regarding installing a type 1 hypervisor? Someone I can get on the phone and grill for several hours on the various "what-ifs". Because I am in the annoying middle-ground where I am only middlingly technicaly literate but I also don't just want a pre-packaged "solution". The type 1 hypervisor seems like exactly what I want, but it'd be nice to not have to research and figure out the whole thing on my own.
The sudden wall of text strikes again.
