This is completely false. DC does have an overall structure and plan for the game, hell thats what the roadmap is for. Also the reworks are necessary since they have update the art and code. The only reason Jenny and Diane were rework in the first place because their code was interfering when the new content.
That's true he does have a roadmap. What we were discussing is how its inefficient and what ways he can improve the structure and planning of future updates. I agree wholeheartedly that reworks are necessary. However, the time between each update is steadily increasing and there has been no substantial improvement to the core game. Key features that permeate all characters have not been implemented, which will likely require another update for each character when they are in his current model. Its funny how absurd it is that we are nearly 3 years into development and we don't know how the main story will work.

Here in lies the problem what is the core game. I would consider the school girls and there story’s the core of game, while others would say the family members or the main story is which is why what gets work next is left up to a vote. Also the only key feature not in the game is the dating system which is because majority school girls content is not the game yet.

Though I do acutally think that that's not the worst Idea. Once the main story and all important features are done, there's indeed quite a risk that the whole thing runs "out of steam" and will eventually be stopped, since one could see the game as somewhat completed. Yes, some story development is certainly needed from time to time but I personally wouldn't be sad to wait for let's say the prom/harem until all schoolgrils etc. are really properly done. It's of course a fine line to be drawn, but since there are basically two main stories, I'd say one should be left unfinished until the very end. Now we'll get the dad/family story with 0.20 and it looks like we'll get the prom with the dating system and this harem feature at the very, very end.

Tl;dr: I do actually prefer DC squeezing in content for stories, minor characters and other stuff from time to time, since I actually fear that this kind of content may never make it into the game afterwards.

Can anyone tell which options do I choose to break the handcuffs? The wiki page isn't very clear.

Or maybe a screenshot, to see if it's worth the replay.

Right. I mean, I get that the original code base was somewhat amateurish. And that because it was done by a guy who was basically teaching himself how to do this stuff on the fly, it was done... sub-optimally.

So now you've got an inefficient backbone for a game that basically needs to be rewritten bit by bit in order to streamline production going forward. That makes sense, and it's all well and good that they're trying to fix this. But the problem is that they've still trying to tack on stuff to a building that they're in the middle of tearing down to the foundations. And it's because they're letting the patrons decide what gets done, when it gets done, etc.

Now I know people are going to argue that with a patronage based system, this is just how things work. That money goes not necessarily towards the eventual completion of a project the same way you budget for a game to be made in normal software development - i.e. "Here's your nest egg, you have X amount of time to produce a viable release candidate." I get that the process is different, and that if people are happy playing "incomplete" builds until the end of time and outlaying money for that, then whatever.

But let's be clear, here. Working like this, you are very unlikely to actually see a finished product. This method of production just doesn't lend itself well to it.

you cant break them anymore
Of course you can. Just be a bit less submissive in your conversation with Jenny. For example, if the dialog option during argument between Jenny and Debby is "keep silent" or "say something", just don't keep silent. If she wants money, don't give it to her right away.

how could i finish diane quest?
i can't finish on this quest "diane want to explain how to increase milk production"
Get the milk bottle (might be called differently) from the barn, and the (kamasutra?) book from the library.

It's funny reading through all these comments in this thread and seeing all of the love/hate on both sides of it..

Personally it was this game that led me to F95 here two years ago and I think for a lot of people posting (haters and white knights) will agree that the game is one of the better porn games out there.

I think their biggest mistake was spending the last two major updates (since Roxy) with updating two characters (Aunt and sister) that frankly didn't need major updating to be honest. Sure maybe some visual improvements here and there - but their stories weren't that pressing to be changed in any major way.

They should've either made an executive decision after seeing how poorly the Aunt's story was received and gone a different direction and explained it to their patrons (since they voted for the Jenny update this go around) orrrr completely changed the sisters story.

I mean for the number one adult game on all of patreon (in terms of money and patrons) it's kind of sad to see any major game development or movement in plot in almost a year... (idk maybe it's complacency? Boredom? Trying to be too smart for their own good (their unnecessary need to over-complicate the code each update)? cash grab?)

ps. I'm still a major fan but they need to get back to what they were all about and hopefully the Eve story delivers --- not this pointless revamp shit

Don't be submissive to Jenny. Speak up. Don't give money without argument.

Hmm. Ok. It denies nothing. In reality, SS is also a demo. There isn't a complete version of this game yet.

SC does have a larger budget, team, ect.. but SS and SC have a strikingly similar development story. Which is the point and the context in which he used to compare them. The details of each game will of course be different when you scrutinize them. SC lost coders too, it also has reworked and changed engines to suit its needs. However, looking at the big picture, you see 2 crowd funded games with passionate directors, without a complete version after years of development and superfluous content, despite the large amount of money they make. "Missing the forest for the trees."
This is simply lying about SS as a product in relationship to Star Citizen and ignoring what's been done.

You do you, man. I already told you a more apt comparison is with Duke Nukem. You ignored it. You also ignored the money for a dishonest argument about scale I never made. The entire point of my post was merely to state that you shouldn't miss the context for a tortured parallel. It seems you did exactly what you accuse me of doing by ignoring context.
