Making the world a little warmer and brighter was my intention from the start. Because while I really do love the artwork it always looks so washed out and cold for me. Not sure if that is intentional or perhaps it's a result of the monitor they are using.

Turning Hiro into a redhead (which she clearly is), and slutting her up a bit more (which she most definitely is) is where the makeup and tats come from. Heavy makeup and tats are hot. Period.

Dark Knight gonna be near Outpost. Also Jester and Minotauress too. Watch out for Nagas. Strange Castle at the first map, after nonpenetrable forest has got nothing to do with Dark Knight. It was already in previous versions of game before even Dark Knight was developed. It is as it is. Maybe a hidden entrace to Centaur Camp... This is eye-candy graphics placement probably to fill up the void. Or block map generation with a path being accessible to Centaur Camp. Only one sure solution after being abducted by Centaurs gonna be: cheat on to avoid game over and use Town Portal Scroll. And before that buy your name back.

Thank you. I hope you enjoy it. You can go back and forth really easy too. Just rename the original .jar and change it back when you want the original. You're save does not get affected by switching the .jar at all. I do recommend matching the mod to the correct release but even if you didn't the worst that would happen is you would see the stock art instead and occasionally a really messed up Hiro if they alter the "mc" animation files again.

It's all in the detail. I even fix a few mistakes left behind by Majalis. Take a close look at the doppelgangers ear. Oops

I'm sure I have missed a few myself but I try to keep things consistent across the board. Like so.

Even on something as small as the combat Hiro pic, I made sure to place the correct tattoos and I just noticed I did not place her signature heart earring so that's something for the next update.

Even when you're willing to give yourself over, Hiro often still stutters.

As the game continues development I can definitely see more avenues of choice opening up as the devs have clearly put these options, plus more (including being a top), into the game but currently are either limited or don't really lead anywhere.

I enjoy playing with reluctance as Hiro during the start of the game, but as I continue forward I would also like to see him fall into the pit of debauchery!

Sorry, you are having problems but just a quick reminder. All I do is alter the graphics files. Nothing I do can ever make the game crash or give an error. If I miss something the only thing that would happen is you would see the normal stock image.

I hate stating the obvious but did you try uninstalling java and reinstalling it? Are you launching the game directly from the .jar or are you using the win64 or 32 version? If so make sure it's the right one for your OS. I use the 64 version and one time I accidentally downloaded the 32 version and that wouldn't even boot for me.

Uninstalled java and reinstalled latest and greatest, made sure I have the 64bit version, tried restarting, did pretty much all of the usual first-step processes to ruling out/self fixing that gets suggested, even tried playing around with the default program settings for JAR and writing an exception for the file in my AV just in case it's been cock blocking me. All I get is a very brief dos box that closes a split second after appearing and nothing else. Doesn't really matter to me now that I'm home and no longer need to get it working on the laptop, just seen this issue from some people before and was curious if there was a definite process. I guess some are just not meant to be, eh?

Yo @przemek123 ! I'm not sure what you are reffering to... If you were Caged by Strange Merchant - the solution is to buy a Key for 100 gp. As i remember it shall be available to buy from Blacksmith from first town.

Or edit your savefile and inside everyone "inventory" add:

Yea, for sure, I get that, it's kinda like the Tsundere fetish. Honestly I probably wouldn't mind it if the writing weren't so contrived and overwrought at points; I'm not the type of person who self-inserts and projects into works of fiction, but damn it's hard to get into sometimes, it's like reading a fucking medical journal. I had my writing torn apart my teachers until I got better growing up so it's hard to see writing by people who think they're good at it because they use a thesaurus. And like I also said earlier, I probably wouldn't complain if there were more CGs for the top scenes. Hell I might even be willing to throw some bones their way at that point.

Yea, that was part of my point as well, maybe I didn't get it across as clearly. There's this illusion of choice in the combat and some of the dialogue before you make selections, but at the end of the day Hiro ends up as a reluctant sub no matter what you do. That's more annoying than anything. I would prefer there was no illusion of choice in the first place if that's the case, and play it like the static VN it pretty much ends up being in terms of Hiro's personality anyway.

I still don't get why Hiro (Trudy too) is always shocked when people think he's not a man. I mean did he take a look in the mirror that morning? He's clearly not dressed as a male (most classes) and she wears his hair in pigtails. A person wouldn't dress and present themselves this way unless they clearly wanted to be recognized as female.

We need an official back story for Hiro. Maybe if they had an option to start him off as an actual male and the game had a slow transformation aspect added to it that could make things more interesting. At least it would explain why he thinks of himself as male or if that is not possible then rewrite the dialogue and take out those parts.

It might diverge a bit from that in the free play mode. So he identifies as male and feels that he is presenting as such, based on what he knows.

If you meant my "explanation" that I just deleted then, yeah, heh, I didn't realise there was lore in the story mode that gave reason as to why Hiro looks and dresses like that; so I just went full armchair theorist mode, haha. Perhaps what @yoyomistro read is that this feminine fashion trend is what Lowlander males like Hiro follow?

I haven't done story mode yet since people here say it's still barebones. So I'll just wait 'till they flesh it out more. I want to go through Hiro's entire story to its fullest.

Hope you like it. Just click on my sig it's a mega link to the modded .jar file.

After it downloads just replace it with the one in the TOA folder but back it up first if you decide you want to go back to the original art. You can switch between the mod and the original art as often as you like. It will not affect saves or progress of any kind.

Something I don't understand, is why Alis uses models and documents EXTENSIVELY to draw a simple shot of a butt, and then she doesn't for a "complicated" posing.
