in book 3 for some reason in love route after i find the first statue the snake does not come in dreams or it is a slave route only?

I am stuck at the south pole. Katara won't train me more till I help people, but no one wants help. The elders don't want anything, I get immdiately ejected from the school, and sponsoring the shop apparently doesn't count. There is nothing to do and the game will not go any further. I just get everything the same forever.
turns out you can trigger that at night - where you cant actually access the park. so you're stuck at that point. reload another save and try to trigger that event earlier
