Oh no no, they don't say he violated rules! They simply are "concerned" about things and stuff Its trust and safety after all. Not some bloody inquisitorial censorship or anything.

He have a separate website right? But he is using patreon for money transactions i believe.
I have a doubt, Is patroning the only method for safe money transaction? If not, may be he can switch to some other mode of transaction. In that way the dev might have one less thing to worry about. Also, we can expect the updates a bit faster(may be).

I've suggested the exact same thing. There has to be another medium for supporting him. I have a bad feeling the entire premise of the game is now going to be compromised and ruined.

Seems he has done a lot of editing to his Patreon page - Deleting comments and teaser photos. In my opinion, it was pretty dumb to be putting out teaser images and allowing comments for things that could be interpreted or misconstrued. Afraid it is too late now....

A smart dev would have "de-incested" the game after the first time patreon police checked him out. And somewhere else a "fan" would have provided an incest patch. But we can assume for sure the release will now be not before september due to the additional amount of work.

He is earning 5.5k at this point in time, which makes production of this game likely his main source of income. Shifting to another platform might lead to him losing supporters because most of the people pledging to similar games tend to do so on Patreon, and having everything on one platform makes it easier to keep track of what they are pledging for.

Unless Patreon does something similar to what Tumblr has done (porn strike across the board, which is unlikely but possible) and causes a massive migration of porn game devs to another dedicated platform, it is unlikely that many devs will take the risk to pioneer another platform.

The more likely solution would be for him to get in contact with Patreon staff to get rid of offensive content and providing 'fan patches' on discord/ forums like f95/ limit teaser images to discord.

Good points. I personally don't think it would be too confusing if there was an alternative platform to go to that link to support. You are probably right there might be an initial decrease in support - Guess a question would be how would there be visible traffic to lead people to the game to support (think for me it was seeing the demo on a "pirate" sight like this - doing a search of the game - and finding it on Patreon and becoming a supporter like I currently am). Not sure how that process for others would change if on a different platform.

If the dev is truly going through and changing everything about his game, which is what is being suggested, then I see it as changing the whole premise of the game and losing it's unique appeal.

Ah, I must have missed the message on a possible overhaul of the game/ themes.

I would agree that it would be better to seek an alternative platform if the entire game has to be changed in order for it to stay on Patreon. He'd lose supporters either way and moving to another platform seems to be the better option of the two.

But if it is incest rather than simply porn being the problem here, I for one have no problem with Dylan being entirely removed from the equation being the creep he is

I really love this kind of game with slow progress and detailed renders but after trying to find if the game shows sex scenes or nudes in certain point, I coundnt find any information. Can some one help me with this question before I start the game?

There is occasional nudity but no sex scenes. This is a slow burning game.

Or do like everyone else and rename the game "Wife and Landlord" and later patch for the real content.
I feel that would be better then to carve big parts of the game out since he stated that alot (all?) of the story is already writen

And after the stuff with son, daughter and sister have been removed I can delete the game from my SSD. There is no need for discussing such things. As more than once said, prepare the game for an incest patch (which should have been done many many months ago), and everything is fine.

Yeah, that would be idiotic³. The game has it's appeal because of the MILF and incest stuff.

Perhaps the patch idea is a solution as others have suggested - I'm just not the most familiar with how that process works. That would be good news. Guess the concern though might still be what if Patreon proceeds to eliminate adult/porn games altogether as has been suggested - Then what?

Since the shower and school scenes have been created, wondering if a release could be done with those scenes now (after final programming) while he then circles back and does the necessary patching/etc for moving forward. Or looking for an alternative support method to Patreon.
