don't know why there is so much hate for this.. the original game is abandoned and will never be finished.. but the game was good.. a little too grindy but good.. if this will be finished and has good content beyond what was in the orignal and (a) proper ending(s) it's a good thing..
however the ntr stuff is not my thing and i used the cheat mod to get rid of it in the original.. but that is on everyone to decide.. i don't like it myself..
for the fetish stuffs the choices are limited enough anyhow.. so you sometimes have to live with stuff you aren't particularly into in favor of the content you are into..

Overall I wrote quite a bit about how the game would have been more interesting and consistent a few examples are:

-Anne and Eric relationship having 3 levels (girlfriend, submissive, slave), each of them having effects over how easily Anne believes Eric, how much power and influence he has on the house and how openly will he woo the girls. At girlfriend level she would cut Eric when doing something improper around her children and remain with most of the house's authority, at submissive she would start to listen more to him and let him do his advances unless they are too over the top, while at the slave level you can't count on Anne trying to stop Eric at anything. The point was that each level Anne falls can't be recovered but! you can take actions to make the fall slower or even block if for a time (like drugging Eric).

-Eric taking actions and generating opportunities to stop him, for example buying a gift for the girls (stealing the gift), interacting with them alone (suddenly appearing too) or plainly seducing them (don't let him). Even more the girls reacting based on your relationship with them and their relationship with Eric.

-More details rather than simply going to war or staying at peace, rather Eric gets pissed off each time you directly interrumpt his advances or know that you are the one that are limiting them, if you piss him off enough after he gets the girls you are going to the boot camp, however if you didn't piss him off and he gets the girl you can remain in the house and still try to get other secondary girls. Being able to make a deal to protect a girl based on blackmail or equivalent exchange (for example being able to protect Lisa while promising to not stop his advances with Alice or viceversa, breaking your word gives quite a penalty).

If you don't interrumpt him too much your relationship with him will increase and he will even give you money or give you seduction tips to help improve your skills.

-Having a point of no return (like for example getting a girl pregnant) but before he arrives there you can recover any girl if you work hard enough (except Anne that requires you to defeat Eric).

-Being careful of opportunities backfiring and introduce relationship effects on opportunities (for example a girl that has a good relationship with you may just call you a pervert in a friendly manner if you spy on her and she catches you, or if for example Eric catches you spying on a girl and you have a good relationship with him he won't punish you, of course on the contrary if people are mad at you they will try to get as much as they can out of you).

As it may be noticed, I didn't like the idea of Eric being the ultimate idiot but rather a bit more normal.

There are really great ideas. The original Big Brother made the mistake reducing Eric's threat and removing him to quickly. His early departer was done because people complained about the ntr. But, escalating the conflict brings some tension to the story. A good example of this is "Goons Raid Her". The fear of being cucked makes the player focus on solving the puzzles.

highly unlikely as it's a really recent upload and a very early version.. you can find incomplete walkthroughs of the original game however but i'm unsure how helpful they are for this.. as far as i understood from other comments the game follows the original pretty much but some stuff changed.. however i can't speak from own experience here as i didn't try this one yet.. i played the original not so long ago and that's why i won't check this out any time soon.. at least not until it's further down in development and more content added..

What is different in this new Big Brother?

A whole bunch of conversations are the same as in former BB-games, but allthough a lot of graphics and most known actions are missing in this early "new" demo version.
There may be a long long way , some time and several updates to before this is a fullversion

In a way, for the people who "hate" Eric, think of it this way, once you get rid of him, the ladies are yours, and they are more "easily" corrupted, and will trust MC as the man of the house, as MC has proved that Eric is a "jerk".

I'm more of a fan of voyeurism myself over the whole "You are the guy who gets every woman who appears in the game" so I wouldn't mind a version where Eric does get with everyone in the house over the MC and he just spies on them. I mean, it's better to have those options than to listen to those who want to push the game down into a single linear path of "Only I get to have sex with the women in the game". It's a weird fetish, I know, but then again it wouldn't be a fetish if it was entirely normal lol. I just like having options to play as I would like and enjoy, even if it's ntr. /shrug When the first Big Brother came out, I was lik e"Holy shit, this is hot!" but then the massive switch went in where Eric gets booted really fast and suddenly its just another "Having sex with every woman" game. I really hope that doesn't happen here or at least I get the option for it to not happen. We will see but man oh man is it good to be back in this game.

I know this is only the 0.02 version and that's probably why, but there are a number of interactions that are not implemented yet despite having the cgs for it, like :
- Gifting the clothing before Eric. The quest log should be updated accordingly but wasn't. or the game is bugged.
- There are also a few things that seem unfinished or rushed, like the lack of scene introduction when you catch Ann & Eric in the living room at night (specially if you've been doing dishes) or the fact that eric comes two times and has exactly the same dialogue twice with you saying "ill be back next week" and then nothing, or that lisa suddenly uses her old swimsuit again after x days.
- There's also a 7th opportunity that I haven't discovered yet ?
- You can't cath alice smoking, but the cgs are there.

I the Dev strives for the same quality at least than DS's, I really hope this get fixed and improved in the future releases.

Other than that, this is still not worth playing IMO, I think we need to wait unti 0.04 or 0.05 for it to become interesting. Also releasing an update a month with limited staff won't grant us a lot of content each time. We need to be patient and hope that this does not go down the well.
But so far, other than a few things like randomized art and the character menu outfits matching the daily ones, it's pretty much still the same as DS's so, if you're looking for something different here, it's still too soon IMO.

There's still lot to do.
