Same here. Typically the cat runs south and is near the city wall. This time, however, the cat went east and crossed the bridge and when I attempt to cross the bridge I can't (and the message appears that I can't leave until I've found the cat.............).

EDIT: Was able to go into a shop then back out which reset the cat's position.

you have to enter a building then exit it again it will respawn the cat somewhere else

You also have to speak to her first at noon or the arvo and maybe check the door at night before she will spawn in her bed at night.

For all the people who are stuck at a certain point. The game is intended to force players not to focus only on one path or character. If you just want to trigger a specific event you usually won't succeed.

The hidden room is in Linda's house after she gives birth not in the mansion. The mayor's daughter is only there at noon and at night. You can only do sexy times with her at night.
