So, I got it installed, but the gallery, while I can access it, all the scenes are locked. Everyone is making it sound like it should be unlocked

Hoky, so I did that, and have extracted it twice now. I have the gallery, but everything is locked. All I can access is character mode. I have the uncensored patch extracted and everything.Read my post above yours.
To be 100% sure, I pulled everything out again, main rar file and uncensored patch to make sure and it still shows this.

Did you deleted and replaced all the saved files?
Oh wait, probably Brendon’s Copy has a full game save but the one here doesn’t... You’d need to have a full game save to view them all coz that’s how almost all game gallery works.
Yeah thats what i have been doing. So they are always unkillable? Like everytime i run into ill have to escape?

I don't remember which previous quest it is, but it can only be triggered if you answer one of the choices in the past correctly. I think it may be the thief one? It may also only be available if you did the Save Child quest at the very beginning of the game.
Hi Andrew, it contains .001 and other numbered files. All you have to do to extract it is right click the .001 file and choose to Extract to 'game name'.rar. Then it will extract a .rar and you simple do the same for that file.
With HJ-Split all you have to do is click Join, Input File, Select the .001 file (which should be the only one available to select), then press Start. Then the .rar will be available to extract with the game. You can safely delete the .001, .002, .003 and .004 files, then delete the .rar after the game is extracted.
Make sure you cut the entire main game folder and move it to your desktop or C:\ or anywhere with a shorter path or else you will run into errors or black screens because the file path is too long.
I think you can fix it by renaming that file. It should be .rpgmvp not .rpgmvo
If anything is failing to load it's likely that the game path is too long. Rename the game to something shorter like Island Saga v1.0.0 and put it in C:\ or your desktop.
For example it might be C:\Island SAGA [v1.0.0 May Update-Patch v4] [kamichichi, Remtairy]\Island SAGA [v1.0.0 May Update-Patch v4] [kamichichi, Remtairy]\Island SAGA [v1.0.0 May Update-Patch v4] [kamichichi, Remtairy]\Island SAGA [v1.0.0 May Update-Patch v4] [kamichichi, Remtairy] after extracted, so you need to make it...
C:\Island SAGA v1.0.0\
Khaitoh I think this is likely the issue with the game. If you shorten the game path everything should be working fine.
Also the bug with Sophia's lips I haven't figured out yet. They stay on screen for too long, but disappear shortly after so it's not too disruptive.
To use JDownloader all you have to do is copy a link and it will do the rest.

i have the option Gallery on the main menu. But it hasn't any scenes unlocked? How to unlock them??

I also read about that in the dev’s discord and I think he’s looking into it.
Have the same problem, Game Dev on his discord said it might have to do something about a players PC setup, mainly the graphics card settings... what are your PC Spec?
