Reading a lot of the recent comments about Ruth Thomas. For me she is a key character and arguably the most important in the game barring of course the HM. Without her and her personality traits the game stops becoming a game with any meaningful challenge. If she is going to soften to the HM's methods then some other opposing force needs to come in.

Having said that, I would like to see her being punished by the HM and I could see her sacrificing her own interests for the sake of the students. If for instance she was to uncover the real intentions of Mr Mycock and his backers, this may lead to her, in an act of desperation coming to the HM in the hope that he will act to protect the girls from being taken from the school and put to some other sinister use. Seeing a glimmer of goodness in HM and knowing that the he wants ultimately what is best for the girls Ruth takes a gamble in the hope that you'll help her.

The HM then has the choice of working with Ruth and against Mycock in the hope that such a move won't upset Mycock too much given the positive currency the HM has already built up. Or alternatively he can rebuff her and continue as before but with her resisting his every move.

If the HM agrees to help, he can then open up certain options including possibly a punishment system for under-performing staff, including of course Ruth, convincing Ruth that in order to get the students passing at 100% rate is the only way to protect them and better teaching standards are therefore essential.

Other options would be to allow the HM greater powers towards the girls or for Ruth to agree to submitting to the HM for as long as the girls results are good and they are protected from Mycock.

As a nod to A&H, I have to say a big thank you for Ruth's stockings!!! I noticed the nylon right from the start and I did wonder if she was wearing stockings or it was pantyhose and I was delighted to see that it was the former. Being from a cold country many women wear skirts with pantyhose and I do sometimes fantasize that they are all running around in stockings instead. Alas I think my fantasies are just that, a fantasy.

If you were to relax some of these prohibitions, I think you would see even more marked improvement in their studies and behavior. I have a proposition for you..."
Ruth: "I admit, you have me curious, what do you have in mind?"
Headmaster: "In the following weeks, you will allow me to demonstrate these methods on you. If, at the..."
Ruth: "You think I will let you spank me?! Surely you have gone mad!"
Headmaster: "... IF, at the end of the period, you do not believe that my methods are the ideal way to modify behavior, I shall relent and never again request any change of the rules, but, if I succeed, you will allow me to administer punishments as I deem best, without putting obstacles in my way."
Ruth: "So, I could get you to stop bugging me if I win this wager... Interesting... I have a few questions. What would constitute winning? Do you propose to improve my behavior? What's to stop you from simply striking me for hours on end."
Headmaster: "You will be able to request a stop to the punishment at any time if I do anything more extreme than the school rules allow, or if you feel that it is too much for you."
Ruth: "So I can have a 'safe' word?"
Headmaster: "In essence, but I propose something with stakes for submitting."
Ruth: "And that would be?"
Headmaster: "If you wish me to stop during a session, you will call out the next digit to the keypad for the girls changing area in the gymnasium."
Ruth: "So you can go spy on the students changing? I hardly think ..."
Headmaster: "So there will be consequences for your giving in. Because if you call off the punishment before completion, that will count as a loss for me."
Ruth: "What?"
Headmaster: "I maintain that I know what I am doing, and I can accurately gauge your threshold for pain, embarrassment, and even pleasure, such that you will be able to stop me, but won't choose to do so, as your subconscious will understand that my actions will benefit you."
Ruth: "So, how can you win this arrangement?"
Headmaster: "If, after a session, you find yourself thinking on it, your mind unwilling to let you forget that it occurred, that would constitute an effective punishment. At that time, you will find me, and tell me the next digit to that combination."
Ruth: "You expect me to come find you and tell you 'you win' after the fact?"
Headmaster: "An effective punishment should last longer than the time it is being performed. Likewise, an effective disciplinarian should not alienate himself from those he must punish. I am trusting you to be honorable, as you are trusting me to not take advantage of the situation."

However, there is a brand new user interface that I’ve been working on in the background for some time (as shown in the preview pictures). I’ve also completely re-coded the character logs to include a lot more detail and several characters that were previously missing.

For those of you yet to play this version, I can confidently say that you are in for a real treat with this one. You will be able to continue training the English teacher, Claire, and Rachel now goes up to level 7. The quest log for both characters will update automatically so check that after loading to see what to do next.

Too many people were having problems installing the HD version and the compressed version was too low quality. Instead, I’ve gone for a single version with a quality somewhere in between with a hopefully manageable file size of 1.2gb. Please back up your save files manually before installing the new version. In theory, you should keep your saves when updating the app but I cannot guarantee it. Saves file are located: android/data/altosandherdone.theheadmaster/files/saves. You’ll need to use an android file manager of some kind.

Chang, not to mention the girls he has already converted. There is always the option of one of them setting up security cameras for him at some point as well. I can totally see Debby being willing to do it as long as she is allowed to watch the feeds occasionally as well.

Yeah, I love the new characters cards, the briefcase, the map, and all that, but the new UI is a big step back. Covers too much of the screen, not attractive, kind of a distraction. It should have a way to hide it like the one at the top used to, which also limits it's usefulness. I really see no advantage to it, and a lot of drawbacks.

Other than some minor shenanigans that could be happening in there we've seen everyone in there naked already. (except for Ada) That being said, I think the HM will find a way of getting in there, and out of all the posibilities I can see it happening Ruth giving him the code is the least likely. I think is either gonna be one of the girls (Liz and her exhibitionist streak is a prime candidate... or Faye, writing it down since she tends to forget it... and then forgetting where she put that paper) or someone like Sally (whom the HM has proved he can manipulate) or Sam (if the dates go well). I'm guessing the password will be something like 0000 or 1234

NOW... getting inside the girls' rooms is a much bigger priority. A lot of things, er.... "against regulations" could be happening there.

Getting in there might take some more work... Wooing Maria Consuelo (hot mama!) would be my choice.

Okay, I suppose that could be an option, would take a bit. The HM also suspects, as the uniform inspection shows.

One thing I have noticed is that in the afternoons, when Rachael is with you, Liz is never alone, and Rachael always has that little conversation with Lucy (who is also developing a bit of an exhibitionist streak during her cleaning sessions), and never talks about Liz. I want to see Rachael's commentary on Liz's situation, I think it's time to get a 2nd opinion there.

One other thing I do like about the new UI, is that is shows Rachael wearing her ears while following you around too, so cute.

There is a rule that we haven't been able to make any changes to regarding where the headmaster is allowed within the campus already in place.

If we fully expand that rule, I am sure that the headmaster can be free to go into the girls dorm, (probably hallways first, and then into rooms, and finally into the showers) and maybe into the gymnasium dressing room with the locked keypad, although, because it is locked with a keypad instead of a conventional lock, I feel we will discover the code at one point, and find a way to sneak in rather than change the rules and receive an invitation.

It might be interesting if you could eventually taunt Ruth into a wager to demonstrate how effective your methods are, in which she submits to being punished by you, as kind of a boss level of the punishment mini-game. Ruth can win the bet if she can cause you to fail one of five sessions of punishment that will increase in scope, (like leveling up the girls) and if she fully submits, she will give up the code to the locker room. (Of course, by the final session she would be mad with lust for you and give up far more than the code.)

Yes, Ruth is A Villain of this game. A heel as yuserneim would say. (I get the feeling someones a WWF fan) She's an antagonist but ultimately she's a mini boss most likely beating/breaking her would signal the mid point of the game and the final Boss will show up then. Most probably the owners. So the going to the HM is a good idea. Would the HM stick to his ideals or would he join the dark side and become nothing more then a brainwasher for another period of human history where slavery is relegalized but under another name. I'm being melodramatic, he'd join the side of human traffickers.

Ok I got to ask when was it confirmed she was an exhibitionist? Wasn't she pantyless because she didn't have any regular panties and had no money for regular ones? Don't get me wrong I want an exhibition culture on the school campus. I just don't remember when.

In theory, you should keep your saves when updating the app but I cannot guarantee it. Saves file are located: android/data/altosandherdone.theheadmaster/files/saves. You’ll need to use an android file manager of some kind.

Yeah, I love the new characters cards, the briefcase, the map, and all that, but the new UI is a big step back. Covers too much of the screen, not attractive, kind of a distraction. It should have a way to hide it like the one at the top used to, which also limits it's usefulness. I really see no advantage to it, and a lot of drawbacks.

"7 minutes of ferrets frolicking"? "80s & 90s cartoon theme songs"? "Happy Happy, Joy Joy" Classic. You know when you post YouTube links like that is shows your user name and your past view right? Devian what are you thinking?

For the most part the new ui is nice, but damn those quick task icons look like a 6 year old made them.

Guys, don't update the OP. There is a bug in this version preventing you from downloading Amy's magazine. A fixed version will be posted tomorrow morning.

Right now, Lizzie is a closet exhibitionist, only her BFFs kinda suspect she might be into that. I figure the HM could unwillingly unlock a exhibitionist monster, one who would like to be seen nude everywhere... One of those surely would give you the code for the locker room where she'd be naked, y'know, by accident

Okay, I suppose that could be an option, would take a bit. The HM also suspects, as the uniform inspection shows.

One thing I have noticed is that in the afternoons, when Rachael is with you, Liz is never alone, and Rachael always has that little conversation with Lucy (who is also developing a bit of an exhibitionist streak during her cleaning sessions), and never talks about Liz. I want to see Rachael's commentary on Liz's situation, I think it's time to get a 2nd opinion there.

One other thing I do like about the new UI, is that is shows Rachael wearing her ears while following you around too, so cute.

Oh maybe they can come to the HM asking to form a "nudist" club and the HM says they need one more member to become a club so they should talk to Faye as she and her family are practices nudists.
