He may of been very naive,foolish in making such a statement, it is his first project after all,and He may of had every intention of upgrading to 1080p quality.
I am not defending L&P but I do think that he has made some foolish decisions either through inexperience or planning but he does need to make some major decisions regarding the game and the goals he has set.
After this update is released we will find out what his thoughts are regarding the game/updates ect.

I agree. I hope after the update L&P will say more.
But I do pray, no mini update! It would be a disaster.

If he keeps expanding the history branches and the number of renders per event (Records), every remaining day will take from 5 to 6 months at the actual speed. So about 17 pending days, it's 8.5 years, basic math...

Render and programming could be outsourced, which could speed up, but creative "art" part, as design and writing history are complex to delegate.

Either Sophia will confide in Alyssa or maybe Alyssa will ask Sophia about her change in clothes or the episodes in the classroom,maybe Zac told Alyssa what was going on,or even Zac asks Sophia herself.
It really depends on you definition of sex.I think the museum guys will go the same way as Tyler,close but no cigar,they may fondle each other but full intercourse I doubt it.

By update v.125 you reckon (noon day 13)? I'm more inclined to believe not until around a week later, depending of course on any changes to the "wild" event that was planned for day 16.

Day 20, being the start of last third of the game, has been stated by L&P as when the GW threesome might happen. So I suspect it's also the point that most of the Filthy route options will start to reach their climax.

As others have stated, once their favourite character has had sex with Sophia, many may loose interest. I did with the GW route, until I know what's happening with the lesbian route, which is why I think most will happen in the last 10 days, possibly even the last 5

I did add that I really have no idea when there be a sex scene, maybe it's right at the end of the VN and the end is Sophia finally choosing to have sex with 1 person and 1 person only, which I do think there a chance of that. That would be a huge mistake but based on what am seeing from L&P, I wouldn't be surprised if there 1 sex scene on day 30.

I still think what I first posted is a potential path within 2 updates for Sophia having sex and I do think the next two updates are going to be ones we look back on and think, dam they were major updates in the story.

I've always felt that all the side stories are actually main stories and there all a "step" towards Sophia first cheating on her husband, so therefore if am right on that, a sex scene might not be as far away as people think and it really doesn't matter on how many side stories there are.

Maybe not noon day 13, did forget it half-day updates (again) and not a full day in each update, but I think something major is coming sooner than people think, maybe that is just a sexual act but could be a sex scene.

Also, I have never been interested in the GW route but seeing there going be a 3some on that route, am intrigued now lol

As for losing interest after a fave character finally had sex, well that seems silly, they could have sex again

I'm not biased, i already invested 544,50€ in L&P work, i'm in the legendary tier long ago, and i think he's slow, he is an artist, not a developer, not a director, nor a business focused man. Beautiful rich detailed renders, narrative and imaginative history, which is a piece of art on itself. Yes, but he won't delegate work, it's a control obsessive one, and he's going to burn down, which will be sad, as i like his work.

I'm also part of renpy development supporters, and i'm not entirely sure in the current state RenPy is able to handle such huge monolithyc files, gigabytes in an archive... It's gonna end weighting more than the entire Cyberpunk2077 game. With practically no modularity...

As many of us know, it's his baby, it lacks planning, it's not resource efficient, nor bussines oriented, in development you try to split the proyect into small working pieces, many of them, that you develop, and stitch together then you push to alpha, lots of little pices (iterations) that can be split over a working team, of designers, and coders, translation, accountings, etc...

And you take in account the cashflow, where does the money come, where does it spend, what's your return of investment in mid time. I'ts intelligent to spend xxxx money on a render farm to batch render production?, or invest in hardware and build inhouse render servers?... Add code and code in a linear way until it breaks, or contract a sofware architect that helps you build the motor for your proyect, how you use your resources, etc. That's a business baseplan.

Being worried if you should apply a 3500 kelvin light or a 5000k light source so it's more "cinematic", and pack of NPCs a restaurant up to detailing the cutlery 6 desk appart from your MC wich the boke (blur) of the camera won't show. It's more in the line of an art director than a game developer. Yeah, you have a window in one render, build a friggin forest with 10thousand trees, squirrels and birds, 11 textures for the leaves, and render that shit for a 3cm window in a fixed angle view onto 1 still render... "It takes time to render", shit, yeah. Use a fucking photo, and crop it to size... Focus on what the camera has to show, just what your eye can see...

And Man, it's a visual novel, if you keep splitting and adding options it's gonna become an openworld RPG...

The teasers for the dream sequence and the evening shower had pretty much nothing to do with their respective events. The main chunk of the events weren't even in the same locations.

Take the Alyssa event. We know it will involve shopping. Shopping for what though is the question. For bikinis or lingerie could still prove hot, especially if Sophia needs to share a changeroom again

I know we're still just on Day 11, but the titilating teasing is starting to wear very, very thin. We need some more sexual action somewhere, whether that's with Sophia and someone other than Liam or with Ellie which is what this update seemed like it might have, now it doesn't.

The hot scenes are good, but we need some sexier action even if we are still less than halfway through the playable days.

I think that sentence has to do with the first part of the sentence (this update will be sth for both, who likes lesbian stuff and who not that much)... so maybe we will not get some straight action, yes, but maybe there will be some clues for the future.

But with who? The only guys mentioned, I think, are Dylan, Liam and Morello, but those are smaller events than the ones with the female characters so I don't see them having much, if any, action.

Is Logan going to make a surprise appearance during the Ellie/Julia event, or will they catch Sam peeping from his treehouse and it kills whatever mood there might have been? Or are we just going to get 300+ renders of the 2 girls talking and maybe sharing another kiss? If that's all we get, then it will be a waste of all those renders if barely anything happens between them during that event.

It just feels like this might be an underwhelming update if they're telling people beforehand that these events which seemed like they might develop some intimacy "are not quite what they seem to be at first". Maybe they mean the opposite and they'll start off wholesome and ordinary then develop into something that's surprisingly steamy and intimate, but given the track of record of this game, I'm more inclined to think it means it will just be more frustrating teasing.

You are right.
Mainly because there is really high possibility we won't see all 30 days.Let's be honest there is no much chance for him to make a game for 10+ years without either burning out or RL hit him hard.
Will be good if everyone get at least one sex scene with his favorite character before that.
