If partial means the same thing here as ULMF forums, then only the menus have been translated.


Which i thought was against the rules here? It def was at one point anyway. There are a lot of partially translated games, in this sense, out there.

As far as I was aware, Partials weren't allowed here. F95 staff reject any game requests for untranslated games, and their definition of 'untranslated' includes partials like this, see rule 6 for game requests:

** Games must have an English translation available, this doesn't not include UI translation and said translation must be available to download (read previous step).

So I'm not really sure why uploaders are allowed to post partials here.

Speaking for myself personally, F95 is where I go if I want english H-games, ULMF is where I go if I want to see what's currently being translated or what games have partials available. I don't personally think F95 should start reposting all the partials that get thrown up on ULMF, they are a dime a dozen and there are likely hundreds available over there, I've certainly waded through enough of them.

Think I'm going to report the OP and ask to get an official response on why these partials are being allowed when they clearly violate the game request rules, maybe someone in authority can make a decision one way or the other.

first I was happy after seeing the game and readin the tags. Then I read the partial translation and thought 'meh, let's see'.
After starting the game only the main and option menu is translated… I don't even know what half the options do.
Also right at the game start you're presented with three choices of which again I have no idea that they even mean.

Let's hope for at least a MTL soon, so they guys that people lose their shit regarding MTL and not the fact that this is unplayable for non-Japanese speakers

guess i'll wait for some kind soul that will translate this someway or another... btw, for an eventual translator, "L" is usable even if you are translating from japanese, at least use "STIVALE" instead of "STIVARE" they have 2 different meaning in italian...
stivaLe = boot, as in what you wear on your feet, it's also a way to call the peninsula
stivaRe = put in the "stiva", where "stiva" is the place where you put the cargo on a boat

agreed i just translated it using Translator++ latest. so just need to put it together again then i can tell ya cause woo wee i cant get past stage one in Japanese. here's the link if you want a instant translation id look up on youtube if you are unsure of how to use it.

When you start you go all the way to the left and that will lead to a cave. Then you can fight the one mouse in the cave and then mine the grey stones and the one green stone.

When you leave the cave a scene will happen and from there you go back to the house and talk to the person in the basement.

Then go into your menu go down to the 7th option and then go down to the 3rd option and click on the hammer and the other stones which I think there are 2.

Then go back to the second option and craft the item and give it to the person in the basement. Your gate is now open and you can enter the forest.

There's a bug when you do Crafting Engineer guild registration, it'll ask for class you want to be and then get stuck in a loop

You have to choose recipe and choose which recipe you want to craft. For that quest I think it is the low healing stone or something?

Welp, I understand that this is only UI translated but will hope this gets translated enough in dialogue soon as it looks like a decent game to play

This MTL has the same issues that the previous attempt someone tried. The intro is completely broken first of all and although you seem to have fixed the crafting system (I haven't tested it yet) there are no doubt other things broken by this. This game is a very bad choice for a machine translation; game has alot of embedded script and I can almost guarantee it will require hours if not days of running over the code to find all the issues.

This MTL is far from fixed in my honest opinion.

Banning things because you don't like it is heavy handed and a waste of time. This site is not a bubble; if something isn't allowed here it just goes elsewhere. The idea that F95 banning MTL is "saving the industry" is a load of crap. Just call a spade a spade. You don't like MTL and want it gone because it bothers you and you don't care about what other people think. Nothing wrong with disliking MTL but let's not make statements with no facts to back them up.

I'm not proposing any sort of a ban because I don't like something. I propose it because Machine Translations are objectively, heavily flawed and are not actual translations. No matter of emotions, it's not an opinion but a fact that's fairly simple to comprehend. People's reactions to MT in every single thread of MT game is a silly, but adequate proof if anyone would need some. Subforum and removal from Latest Updates for MT wouldn't exactly ban them as they would be still easily accesible but they wouldn't deceive people into thinking that something is translated when it isn't or is unreadable. Game like this one (which is pretty decent as a game) with nothing really translated and few misstranslations in these few translated things shouldn't have place among english games. I wouldn't mind seperate Japanese Games sub forum with its own Latest Updates as they would actually bring something positive here and probably entice some to actually translate some of them but MT is neither Japanese nor English.

The reason that a partial was posted is that MTL breaks the game and not in a small way. It breaks the crafting recipe. In this partial it has the latest fix that was posted on ULMF. I tested this myself and it was working fine.
