ok I think we're both accidentally misinterpreting each others statements, I have no issues with female protagonists but that other guy did

but your response to him made it seem to me like you were saying there was no sexual content BECAUSE it was an otome game
Oh, nope! Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was just trying to clarify the female protagonist thing.

Regarding the game itself, this dev team has vastly improved in the art department compared to their first game. Not sure if it's the same artist who honed their skills or if they brought in a new artist for the second release, but it's looking really good.

Now you know how I feel when I see an awesome looking game and for 200th time it's ruined by some self-insert male protagonist and it's a ocean of dicks. I'll point out the balance of male protags versus female protags is like 10 to 1.
Actually games with female protagonist are those usually ended up with an ocean of dicks since said female protagonist usually ended up fucking the whole town or get raped when defeated...so in the end you'd end up seeing a lot of dicks.
And about your balance ratio, maybe it's true for 3d games but for 2d games like this one? Think again .

...No it's definitely unquestionably true for 2d games as well. It's why many sites have a female protagonist tag - because it's not the default. It goes like this: games with a female protagonist are more niche than ones with a male protag, and games where that female protag isn't a rapetoy are even more niche than that.

Seems we're talking about 2 different type of games. I was referring to 2d female protagonist games made for male while you seems to be referring to otome games where there's a bland self-insert female protagonist with a harem of sparkling pretty boy.
Yeah i wasn't kidding about the sparkling part, they really do sparkle :p.

it might just be me but I feel that this should have the [VN] prefix. I played probably about an hour or so (including the intro bit to get an idea of the story) and there were a total of 3 interactions - a conversation choice with sapphire, making the potion, fighting the eidolon. The rest of the time you're just clicking to move the conversations along.

I am tempted to just play this one first. The art is so prettier when compared to the first game.:)
