I've gotten that feeling with the MC (not a big fan of his justifications half the time) but this games a bit about redemption and such so i continue to observe

I'm having some trouble with Rin's new content. I have two events left, "Ten Steps Forward" & "I Died With You", and when I visit her in her dorm, the event with Chika plays, however, when I look at her event tracker afterword, there is a mission crossed out in red called "Love life, Let Go", what am I doing wrong?

Never really thought about it, until talking to Tsuneyo, but seeing a bird on top of a vending machine with a very large and sharp knife in its beak is a bit terrifying, especially since it's just barely above eye level.
... You know, I really wanted to continue on with my normal save file even after all the shit that happened in 0.8.0 but fuuuuuuuuuuuck. Rin's really making me regret being an event-seeing completionist here (as she should, that really was fucked up of Sensei). Great job Selebus, you have successfully made me regret my actions; you son of a bitch.

I really do not like locked or exclusive content - this is a harem. Can we please avoid it? We are all here to see all the scenes and enjoy them. I hate having to follow guides or use multiple saves and it's one of the reasons why I enjoy LiL more than any other game on here. Rin being locked simply because we pursued Chika before the beach trip doesn't feel good. I now have that event crossed off staring me in the face (and likely more in the future?). It'd be different if it was really obvious and easy to rollback a choice and change it, but at this point I'd have to start a whole new save since I pursued Chika many versions ago. That's dozen of hours of work at this point.
I'd love to see a patreon poll to change this event and see if other patreon subscribers are also strongly against locked/exclusive content in future releases. Too many games on F95 try to get complex with exclusive content and branching paths and the result is less content for the average person that only has the desire to play through once.

Yeah I kinda just saved and closed the game when I knew I messed up Rin's storyline. I started a fresh save on 0.8.0 because I missed some secret events and that took dozens of hours to get caught up, I have no desire to do it again right now. Plus, there's only going to be more cases of this in the future it seems so trying to see every event seems futile at this point.

go to page 97 of this thread look for the save file posted by oblivion should set you up to do the beach event over to get this marked out red event, you can use skip button, and then for the scenes not yet done in oblivions save you can still also use the skip button. should save you some time
I personally have not been able to get that save to register and show up in game but many people say it works so good luck

You can't see all events in one playthrough anymore unless I am missing something. This is his saved game, Chika event is crossed out now instead of the Rin event. Personally, I like Chika more so I am happy with my choices if this is indeed a "one or the other" type situation. However, I thought this was a harem game based on genre tags.

i made a mistake in that save before selebus posted what i needed to avoid for the beach scene. that event is crossed out if you chose to not kiss chika in her earlier events.
i made a save correcting that but i guess i forgot to post it here, my bad.
here is the corrected save with chika events enabled, starts at the beginning of the beach events.

ah and i figured out why it didnt work for me, I kinda just downloaded and dumped it into my save folder, when I downloaded it, it added a string of numbers to the file name I had to erase, worked after that.
