no you don't, if you have read the (admittedly easy to miss) hints, you'd realize you only need either a dance studio or the recording booth, and only one type of genre and choreography to release a single. yes, gameplay. this is a game, there's gameplay.

seriously, have people here ever played, like, actual games? come on people, admittedly the game is not super good at explaining itself, neither is it any fun past a certain point, but I've had no issue figuring out what everything was. you should genuinely have no issue if you've played something like transport tycoon, or any tycoon game for that manner.
before anyone comments ''muh sexual content'' I had a sex scene less than a hour into the game. it turns out, not every game is interested in constantly throwing tits at your face, but also in gameplay, huh?

I´ve playedquite a bit of the freeplays ince the story seems to have bugged out here, but it was fun.
I´ve also dabbled intro modding, still learning the modding tool, i´ve managed to make a sequence of events extending the sholifting event to add some options like being blackmailed by the owner before the video is leaked, and tried to add a little sex scene.There´s a lot of potential for modding this game.

Tycoons are fun, tycoons are well paced, tycoons are rewarding. This game is worse than Orwell (which is admittedly not a tycoon, but still that game was my biggest disappointment in last 5 years and yes I paid for it and I finished it). It can't even tell you why you're not allowed to produce a single. So, it has uber shitty game design. I don't even care anymore, I tried researching shit to produce a single for like a hour (apparently I didn't have a dress up room which is required? but then I know after I did have every room and it still didn't allow me do shit).

I never said it was a good tycoon game, something like openttd is leagues above what this is. it's incredibly basic, and you're guaranteed to fail if you don't play it the ''right'' way, basically copying the top-selling singles of that month.
also, the game is wrong tagged as no sexual content, there are literal several sex scenes in the game, you can't get more sexual than that. Varisha

do keep in mind this is not close to all of them. there's a LOT of scenes (sex in some empty stadium thing, some images named scandal with pictures of sex over a dark table, so on) and all of them have variations for male-to-male, female-to-male and female-to-female. this is only some of them, because otherwise I'd be spamming this board with images.
also for some reason, they come in both standard 1080p 16:9 resolution, but also on a seperate 1900x200 resolution for 16:10, it's literally the same images but cropped slightly, and all of them have a 1080p version except the cuddle scenes for some reason.

I was looking for hints - and i am quite sure that you cant make a single without all 4 parts. at least Confirm button does not work unless all 4 parts are checked in. i would very much like to know how you can do it with only one both - since economy with 4 parts is unbearable without stable income.
Edit: well we can drop marketing i guess now that i checked. but that's that. you still need both recording booth AND dance studio if you want a single. not just one of them.

If you go on idol-manager-v20-win\IM_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64 you will find two files, one is called "cglewd_assets_all_22bffeba103d6bad3f1601bc0d541654.bundle" and "cglewdcensored_assets_all_19a6c15c25707bd1af046f9aba3effa5.bundle", my hypothesis is that this is probably the images turkler found.
About the game not being "good", i think the game has some good ideas but are somewhat poorly implemented, i personally had fun playing it, but its overly grindy and some of the mechanics are absurdly arbitrary, for example, the "flirting" mechanic is too punishing, everytime you try flirting with a girl, you have one of two results: either your fail and are punished with a -3 friendship stat or you succeed and gain a very slight amount of "romance" stat, the problem is that you can never predict what her reaction will be. But overall the idea of the game is quite good.

no no, you're absolutely right, you do need all 4 parts to release, it's just that 3 of them can be done in your office by you.
you only can't do the choreo afaik, so that's why you need either the recording booth or the dancing studio
also, let me give you a hint, on your first auditions literally just grab all 5 of them and don't touch their salaries. more people literally equates to more stats in this game, it doesn't average with a flat % boost per person. don't touch their salaries until they complain because they start happy with their salaries, but if you lower it just slightly, they permanently become discontent to a point where they demand upwards of 100k a week to be happy.
You don't need marketing to make a single. But all 4 parts can be done by MC. You can buy the points to unlock the research for your first single in seconds of starting the game. Just click the green shopping basket and buy your first thing.

I'm a backer of this game and the dev is seen pretty often in our discord chat. As the game is still beta, you guys are gonna have to make due with there being no hint system. The dev stated that that would be one of the last things that he would work on before the full game is released

Being too worried about operating on razor thin margins and keeping up with a fickle fanbase to be screwing around with the idols is as realistic as a Japanese business simulator can get.
