First time playing the game.
Yes I have read all the tutorial
Tried to search but ends with nothing really helpful
Can I find somewhere a step by step guide for Helen to cover all game mechanics?
No one has made a step by step guide for Helen but there's a walkthrough with Whielemine that should be roughly similar...

It was on an old version of the game, some mechanics have changed since. If you follow everything step by step you might not succeed, so take it as an inspiration: https://f95zone.to/threads/jack-o-n...ntsman-community-development.390/post-4773091

So... i looked on every minor residence, there is no one that want anything that has no specialization. because of that, its needed to get a slaver skill to B+ to train and sell slaves. back to the problem "you have to be better on that skill to train your slave". that way i see it, one must have real luck with slaves that they have the required skills already on B+ that you only need to train other skills and sell her, or get a good fighting slave(good luck with both without save scum xD) and somehow get her good enough to win contests. the problem with the second is, if you dont have the luck and train her enough that she stay's with you, you have the other problem that on a point the fighter slave have to get selld to get a new slave to train for new skills. xD

or is there any specialization that can get trained "easy"? for a servant/maid... sure cleaning is possible to teach but cooking is impossible in slums. assistant, i forgot how the slaver learns stewardship. anyway, without a low cheap selling opportunity, i cant see how to make money on a 0 skill start. only through luck to get a good fighting slave? I tried a race but...i think i have no luck with good starting slaves for races. q.q

The answer to that specific question has been given by ImperatorAugustus a few months ago but I'm not sure I remember.

From my own instincts, what about asking for a loan, then giving lessons with the school or the tutor, and alongside if already out of the slum having Isabella give lessons?

If you don't feel like reading the guide ImperatorAugustus wrote for the no skill run, here's a short runthrough.

Get a D- contract for Gladiatrix. Blue in Temperament and Nature, low pride and intelligence, high in endurance. Soft reset for this! Try for low Empathy as well. Don't actually train her as you would with a normal slave. She will fight you. Just keep her happy. Buy soft slippers and sundress. Get spa and massage when she's in a bad mood otherwise she might run away. Go to the Colosseum every day and arrange fights for both slave and slaver until slave has C- in Gladiatrix and slaver has at least D-. Set rules. I used no Masturbating and Deny Orgasm. The third rule is up to you. Use verbal punishments if she disobeys. She'll fight you if you try anything else. Once the fights in the Colosseum happen, send your slave to fight in them. Her C- Gladiatrix skill should increase to B+. Now try to get her to be obedient. It might take longer to reach this point, but there is usually something she is willing to do. If she refuses, keep using verbal punishments even if they're ineffective to get rid of guilt. Once she's obedient, you can turn her in. Don't forget to work on the slaver's skills, too! Clean the house yourself until you get Peon status. Get your Fighter skill to C- as well. Keep the slave long enough to increase your initial dominance.

I did the above in a Johny run and eventually got a couple C- stats and Artistry at A+ without the Formal Suit after four slaves. Just now moving out of the Slums with 1500 Sparks. Will be getting Isabella soon and then my days of eating at the Virgin's Hip will be over.

For those curious: I've recompiled the modified FastQSP (Ivanowich) for Linux because Wine wasn't getting the job done and locked up periodically while also not playing audio. Audio works in my compile, saving/loading works...basically everything...except game layout is foobar. I've determined after fixing the uri for the stylesheet from 'content/stylesheet.css' to 'css/base.css' that it is indeed being loaded but only for the first page and not past the navigations. For now, I've forced it to never clear the stylesheet, and it works now, but I'd like to figure out why this is happening to begin with. For now, everything works.

Noticed another bug. Linux uses a case-sensitive and escapable uri file system. All other files with spaces in them need to use underscores instead. An example, 'ui overhaul'. There aren't that many to fix, though.
Any way for me to get ahold of this? I'm currently running it on wine but considering my system is already antiquated I'd love to have the option to play it without relying on a secondary program even with the layout problems.

Also, congrats on the 2.2 release. I've been out of the thread for awhile trying to manage my irl responsibilities and was really thrilled to find it updated when I took a look today!

Is where really any incest scene in game ? Some npc related to mc ? Can't remember something like that in original game
Only if you're playing as Johny.

Is there any way to permanently increase libido? Mine dropped to impotent and now I can't train in sex skills.

Yes, from a special item you get in the forum by completing a certain special contract ;)

God damn, i looked this game up again after not playing it since the death of hongfire, and I'm amazed that it just had a big update not to long ago.
Oh Hongfire is dead ? I guess it was a matter of time.. i quit HF a few years ago .. coz it was offline most of the time ^^

Is Jack-o-nine-tails still as "difficult" to play ? I tested it 1-2 years ago and failed xD I remember a long tutorial which was to hard to understand as a non english speaker xD

Another question .. are there any Girlpacks like in "Brothel King" ?

"Sry for my bad english :)"

Your English is fine!

The general opinion is that 2.2 is a little more difficult than past versions, but as far as the changes they all "make sense" in a way that is pretty intuitive. There is also a lot more documentation and way more guides on how to get started, so overall I don't find the difficulty of 2.2 to be in a bad spot. At the worst you can play custom mode on easy difficulty and should be fine.

As far as image packs go: there are none out. HOWEVER, the devs have made sure to add way more pictures to the base game so that there are hundreds of different slave images and every action has an image that matches the girl (hair length, age, etc.). You can also add your own girls if the 500+ isn't enough for you, as long as you follow the naming conventions for the files (4digitnumber_haircolour_hairlength_age.png).

I hope this helps!

The current problem running it all on Linux: Using the Windows build on Wine results in no sound because Wine “can't find” the wav files despite them being there (not a permissions or case-sensitivity issue though). That causes the engine to lag a bit trying to repeatedly (as fast as possible) load the wav files. Using the native build, the audio worked perfectly, but the stylesheet isn't being correctly maintained between navigating locations/menus causing game-breaking issues without modifying the engine slightly (which I did, and it results in everything working for that). But there is another issue after that. The developers have foolishly used spaces in directory/file names which requires editing far too much to be sustainable. Frustrating to help others (I don't play adult games, I just remove DRM and fix things).

*Edit* I have attached an initial build (WITHOUT STYLESHEET FIX). This initial build also does not compensate for spaces in URIs. This is just proof-of-concept (POC) to show FastQSP can be compiled for Linux. Compiled on an Ubuntu-like distro. I have noticed that it doesn't automatically load the initial QSP like the Windows build. I can fix that sometime. You'll see the stylesheet issue at the main menu. Note that if you check the HTML on both the “Achtung/warning” that the CSS stylesheet from 'css/base.css' is present but not so on any other page rendering the game unplayable because of it.

*Edit* I've noted that some *buntu newcomers aren't aware that some Desktop Environments don't do the whole “double-click to launch” thing and are used to shell scripts. Just ./FastQSP-JONT and you're fine. *shrug*

*Edit* I now have STYLESHEETS working! Spaces are also escaped correctly! There is only one problem left. File system case-sensitivity. The game developer(s) should rename all files to underscores and all lowercase and update their scripts to reflect that too. But for now...you can use ciopfs to circumvent this issue! Everything works correctly with the work-around providing case-insensitivity for file system access but the developer(s) should really get to fixing their case-sensitivity issues. The current file layout they're using with whack-case names and scripts that call either case and some with spaces will prevent them from running on Android and such if they wanted to target that platform.

Bug: For some reason, list items (<li> / </li>) are being removed when navigating back to a page. This'll take some time debugging. Once finished, ready for release. Suspect there is an issue with QSP variable lifetimes...which would explain STYLESHEET also being foobar without the hackish override. For now, I've added a call to executeJSON() inside the same routine I used to provide the STYLESHEET work-around. Working.

Goals: Auto-load QSP. Find way to automatically work around file system case-sensitivity.

Remember that the build attached is a raw compile of FastQSP (“mod” aka “jack” edition). It contains no work-arounds. The picture is of the build I'm working on which needs one last work-around (case sensitivity issue) and I have not uploaded it yet because I'm trying to see if I can do it without asking the game developer(s) to do it.

*Edit* See latest post of mine on page 237.

could someone remind me, how to increase my magic stat?
I can´t even cast Auspex
You can't cast it successfully, but this is still increasing your stat. Never back down!

There is also another way to get it directly up one level... that you can buy. I won't say where. Good luck ;)

Even starting a character with max combat stats and good gear I am still struggling (failing!) to take out the beasts in the Fog. Anybody got some tips so I can understand combat better?

Please follow the game's tutorial. Or play in custom easy mode, with cheats activated from the options if you want a quick fap (though if you do, I wouldn't say the game suits your needs).

Leaving a one star review on what many consider to be the best slave management game ever made... which required us (modders) hundreds of hours of work, out of passion, that's literally taking a dump on us out of a childish frustration. You're probably worth better, and can complete the game if you let yourselves the means to. And you'll then see the depths of the game.

As for this specific version, we've not made it harder to get obeyed than in the original Russian version; the opposite actually, there are more ways and alternatives than ever.
How does one cheat in this game, I used custom mode and and set the difficulty to easy but no cheat options are available for me.

You need to learn special techniques. Also potions to heal yourself. You need to make "combos" by stacking status on the opponents and then attacking him with a x2 multiplier (the status the enemy has under his image, attack him with an attack of the same color).
