Yes, but we never know what is in this private group. In comments people ask about content from creators whose content was shared on this forum. And I don't really think they will buy it on patreon and not steal here on forum and resell this in VK. And it is very suspicious that after someone left a link to this forum in their group, they immediately decided to create a private group for donators.
We need someone who knows russian to properly translate these messages XD. The private group is for people who donate stuff from patreon only not for everyone (I think). This group existed for years and i think they are the same people from sims4planet too which is way older and it has always been free
sims galaxy has long been problematic. the admin has been stealing content for a long time, sometimes monetizing links, even slandering creators for whose content she didn't pay. Russian-speaking creators who lead groups in vk ban general subscribers, so I was not surprised at all to see this post

in short, the admin writes that "yes, many know where the merged paid cc comes from and that in a closed group, subscribers throw links to cc; that no one is forcing anyone to donate, and in general the admin is not the initiator." I'll add on my own: the post was written very strangely, I had to reread it several times to understand what was written, and I believe that the initiator is still the admin, but the idea and the approximate text of the "proposal" came up with a subscriber

to be honest I don't know what Doux can do against the sims galaxy. the vk administration reacts very badly to complaints about plagiarism, especially if this all happens in a closed and even more so in a private group
Doux probably doesnt like that we convert his stuff even if its free if he takes part in this he would blame us too ofc but i dont think he will do anything like suing since converting hairs to an offline game doesnt hurt his business in second life he wont gain anything by suing so he probably doesnt care. and i dont think we can be sure that sims galaxy is selling the converted stuff since there is no proof about that
Second Life Creators retain intellectual property rights to their designs both in-game and out. IF Sims Galaxy decided to profit off those SL conversions it's a risk, even if it's a small one it's copyright. That's if she was profiting off of Doux creations without first purchasing the license from Doux. Whether Doux took action would be totally up to him/her. I honestly just think the conversion was shared for free in their group like we post them here. That's what people are saying in the comments. You don't find SL conversions much and people are quick to share. Plus, didn't she share her new donation group post this morning? Everything she posted was free including the conversion so idk.
