Second Life Creators retain intellectual property rights to their designs both in-game and out. IF Sims Galaxy decided to profit off those SL conversions it's a risk, even if it's a small one it's copyright. That's if she was profiting off of Doux creations without first purchasing the license from Doux. Whether Doux took action would be totally up to him/her. I honestly just think the conversion was shared for free in their group like we post them here. That's what people are saying in the comments. You don't find SL conversions much and people are quick to share. Plus, didn't she share her new donation group post this morning? Everything she posted was free including the conversion so idk.

Free distribution of his intellectual property is copyright too he can take action about that too thats why people dont share conversions

you're right, but a big chance nothing will happen. sims41ife literally convert stuff and sell it on her patreon (as well as simpliciaty) and... nothing

I'm usually a lurker in this thread since I haven't had time to attempt conversions yet, but just wanted to pop in and say it doesn't seem to me like SG is trying to sell these conversions, they're starting their own private group to pay for different Patreon creators every month. Perhaps they would also share the SL hairs but since they're already here, free, not sure it really makes a difference. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, I also remember that person. She told that her friend make "beautiful editing". I can be wrong but nickname probably Ladova.

I saw DB's ads on fb and I tried to convert her new makeup cart, but the polygon of the original mesh scared the sh*t out of me,

so I split it into small objects

Since I spent a couple hours converting this set,I will still share it here,I would like to thank everyone for their tips/help,it's invaluable to me.

I was so stoked to see that this set was FINALLY converted, only to have the wind knocked out of my sails. I am so disappointed and sad. Like, almost literal tears. Would you consider PM'ing it? I would even pay for it, whatever the (reasonable) price, and I would NOT share it!

Is this fair and normal? We don't sell our conversions, because we understand that this is not our creation, although we also spend a lot of our time on it. And someone has the audacity to pass it off as paid content from Patreon. Wtf ?! Sorry, but I no longer take part in this, I do not want problems for myself and for you guys too.

they were just sharing content from downwithpatreon, and then from yiff, they bought nothing and now they charge money. yes, the situation is frustrating and funny at the same time

Thanks for all the sweet hair conversions over the last few weeks by ksmdrs, Nicia and of course the queen bee himself, HHHeaven for his quality tutorials and juicy hair conversions.

But since there is a shady site just taking all the converted content here, no point doing more letting them profit off the backs of our heroes anymore.

Even with this little thread being low key, some sneaky russian spy was here, probably sitting in his hut drinking back cheap vodka, covered in his own filth just laughing it up with the few dollars he was about to make. Quite the score.

Maybe we need like a simple math quiz or something next time to make it harder for russians to infiltrate.

Guys, it might be good to delete the tutorials too. Otherwise, we will create another "l30s1ms and s1mpl1c1aty" and they will sell the conversions in that group too.
