If you want to demand something from the the developer, I'd suggest you to put money in and start funding them. If you're just like rest of "us" in F95Zone forum, you're just a freeloader and this is free entertainment for you. If you don't like this, stop playing it but, most of all, stop whining about free stuff.

While I agree with you 100%, supporting someone on patreon doesn't give you rights to dictate anything, it just means you are supporting their art. You can always ask nicely though

Read my topic again mate, no offense but you had, you wouldn't come and say that I couldn't be more wrong. I said that the story is important, the most important in any game! As you said, this is an adult visual novel... if so then where is the adult stuff?! Do you need to be over 18 to see Luci kissing you 2 times and you kissing Charlotte's cheek once?! And as I said before, no offense to you or anything but before not agreeing with me saying that many people will stop playing and wait some time until there will be something in the game, read the comments from everyone and you will see!
I hope you understand what I am trying to say and will drop this here. It's just my opinion on the game so far.

Pretty sure we haven't seen the last of Eric, sorry, Zack moving forward. No doubt he will bat his lashes & turn up the charm in future episodes. Can't wait for MC to knock his Chiclets out though...
What happened to the stalker? He went on hiatus & Charlotte is back to showing MC the door? I hope she does and there is an incident, (no not a bad one, just a close call) Kinda weird from her after what he did for Kaylah... And why didn't MC talk to Charlotte after he punched the mirror about the same idiot that haunts her after getting bashed by Lucy for "not getting it"? He could have easily said that he punched the mirror because of him, & then let the healing start...

The game feels like a big-budget TV series and I look forward to every episode.
And I caught myself thinking that this is the first time where I don't really expect lewd scenes.

This is turning into one of my favourite VNs. While it's certainly not perfect, I am enjoying the slow pace, the slow development of the relationships between all the characters and their different struggles feels realistic, especially Charlotte's trust issues and growing interest in Alex with that hint of jealousy in one scene (or that's how I read it anyway). These are unusually complex characters for a VN, and I actually care about them.
It's actually come to the point where I don't really care about the lack sex scenes, when they do happen they will have a far greater emotional impact.

It's difficult to do otherwise when you're practically alone raising your child.
the story and renders are already good, the dev developp it as a chess game and i m glad too fallow it !!
But now i think its time to start some action to make some papers and real impact in the story and maybe some surprise..
Also i hope this game don t stay too soft, sage and chast until now....
I hope about the erotic path begining too, because if i m agree too let the sensual and emotional growing, until now, this story's make me feel and think much more about a mainstream cops story rather then an adult story.....
So i hope some arrive slow and deep but soon

This is an VN with a story. A story which i can relate to. It is not literature but it is better then a lot of other VN here.
If I just want porn there are tons of alternatives, but not with stories that makes sense.
I can wait for the lewd scenes. As someone posted earlier, sex wouldn't make sense at this stage.

Just a few words about the animation question.
To me, they can add a LOT to any sex scene. But that's just an opinion.
I just checked, and the top-10 rated games on F95 are animated. The animations in some of those games are truly outstanding, and I believe add to their popularity, and consequently increase the revenue of their developers. So, if this developer cares about increasing his Patronage, it would seem wise for him to work on developing his skill at rendering animations, and provide them when they fit the storyline.

In the end there are too many people around on patreon who feel entitled because they give some money and are upset that Dev X still does make the content he wants and not the game they want.

Hillside is still one of my favorite games (and Emma is arguably the best designed character I've seen with her excellent facial expression, she just feels so alive), however I am worried about the size and pacing of the game.
What I mean with this is there are tons of plot going on with each of the characters, so far we have:
1. MC's past about the other Emma
2. Charlotte's past (the assault by actor)
3. The stalker
4. The peeping tom
5. Suzi's blackmail
6. Emma crushing on Zack
7. The other student crushing on Emma
8. Kaylah's story?
9. Lucy's story?
10. Steve's story?
and so on (including the relationship between MC and the Lloyds + Kaylah?)
While it's definitely not a bad thing to have many plot like that, the reason why I'm worried about pacing is that it feels like all the plot seems to be going at similar pace. This then gives the impression to some people that the game is moving very slow and/or updates feeling short (despite the update objectively not short). I think the pacing could be better if some plot move faster than others so that some plot could be finished earlier which then gives the impression that we're making progress as we go on this wonderful journey.
Personally, I'd love to see the stalker and peeping tom plot to be finished shortly. I feel like they should serve as a way for MC to get into the main story which IMO is about MC's past and Charlotte's assault considering they are involving the same actor.
