BUT it came out 3 months ago

So we had to play it after 3 months even though we downloaded and played it 3 seconds after it came out.

At first, it came out every 5-6 weeks, then every 2 months, now every 2 months and a half. But the updates didn't get bigger.

Should we get annoyed by this?

Well, I don't think so, since it happens everytime a Patreon game starts becoming successful.

Hmm, looking at my files the last update was mid January. Given this current update was two weeks later than normal, I'd say it is within the normal release timeframe. But I take your point, if updates are getting smaller and slower then there is grounds for complaint.

I believe I have figured out one reason why this release took so long to release. I ran WinMerge between the image folders of the last release and this one, and found that nearly all the images had been re-rendered - a total of 1529 images.

I haven't visually compared any of the images to see if I could tell the difference, but that is a lot of computer churning in order to make that many changes.

That makes sense. Otherwise it's just around 100 more images than the previous update.

Pretty slow update tho, the bait & switch when Charlotte wants to open up only to be rejected by shocked MC makes thing a bit backwards? idk if it's neccessary for this update but it sure makes thing redundant & slow.

To everyone commenting about how small the update is, while I totally agree I'll just make this point.

High quality games with excellent stories that release with large amounts of content, typically only release twice or three times a year. Games like Pale Carnations, Light of My Life, Radiant etc. DarkBlue releases smaller updates but on a much more regular basis. So over the course of a year I'd argue the amount of content on these popular games I've mentioned would be fairly similar, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if DarkBlue releases more content overall.

So if you are annoyed at how short the updates feel, maybe try playing every 3 months instead of frantically downloading every update the nanosecond it comes out. Hard to do I know, because the story is so good and you want to know what happens next.

Dev, it's been almost 1 year since you started the game but failed to give the public the one thing that's important in this type of game, LEWD SCENE! I've played your game from the beginning and honestly, I like the story but man... you need to start giving people something because no one will wait for you 2 years for a lewd scene. In 1 year you managed to give your audience 2 kisses with Luci and one kiss on the check with Charlotte. I get it, the story is important, the most important in a game but you can't continue going so dry with this story without anything happening. I hope you read all our comments here and think about it in the future because not only the story attracts patrons, the lewd scene also. I wish you all the best in the future but I going to stop playing your game, like many others out there, and wait for another year to pass and maybe then we will finally find a lewd scene in your game.

Not a bad update storywise even if some situations are a bit stale at this point, like Charlotte hating Dwayne presence for no good reason. Zak scene could have been more hardcore but I understand the Dev, the ntr crowd would be seething otherwise.
About the time for this update and the content, rendering everything at a higher resolution takes more time and if the game reachs its next Patreon goal it will take even more time to make animations. I'm not a fan of animations because of that, too much time wasted rendering for a little payoff, you can do great scenes with renders alone.

Hope to see a messed up Jenny in the next update because Zak don't give a fuck about her. That would be a good way for Emma to get at least a friend outside the family circle and to get rid of her infatuation with that little fag at the same time.

Well, some devs outsource animations to third parties like Perverteer does.
But yeah, it takes more development time for one man teams.

I don't think you could be more wrong if you tried. This isn't a porn game, it's a adult visual novel. The lewd scenes will come when it fits the narrative, not before. And yes, most people WILL wait for it so stop saying "most" and "many others" will stop playing it just because you want some fapping material.

There are like thousand of games with unlimited lewd scenes where you dad dies and you fuck your whole family.
Fortunately this is not your typical step mom and step sis game so it's a slow build up game so romance scene will be there once it fits and if you still want lewd scene sorry mate this ain't your type of game

Am i one of the rare people here, thinking it is fine with the pace, or that we are still not into Bed Acrobatic with one of the Lloyds?

let me explain why:

It seems to me that db wants to be that all of the Girls should be on the same "level" in a beginning LI (Relationship) and Suzi is still far behind, bc she had way lesser "Screentime" than the others.
So until the Suzi Route isn't processing we won't see anything serious on another Route.

And tbh, i think it wouldn't be good for the Story itself, if "we" could "bang" one of the Girls in the current state of the Story, bc that would cause more and more trouble.

Again let me explain:

- Suzi would be complete unneccessary in the plot, maybe as the good guy we are we help her out with Johno, but this is it, bc why should we care much about her meanwhile we are focussing on the Job, or we have quality time with her Aunt, Sister or Mother. (or some Sidechicks like Kaylah)

- Lucy (again for me) the easiest solution, bc we could spend some time together after we carried Emma to school. But i think this wouldn't satisfy alone any Woman on a long term, bc alot of things would missing being in a real relationship and not only on some sort of Tinder date....

- Charlie and Emma well here is also this "living in a household together" Problem...
Imagine we could now spend the night together with Charlie in her Bedroom and Emma will notice it. This will harm her confident even more after the Zak Incident, or she starts to rebell.
Well and of course Charlie would fire "us" in a nanosecond if she would find "us" together in Bed....
Or do some people want to see some scenes in a cheap Motel (Bang take it and deal with it Girl), taking her precious virginity without the obligatory romantic Beach/Movie/Dinner Evening...
I don't think so.

P.S. And please people have also in mind, it is his (afaik) first Game so, let him please make some Mistakes be it time or anything, the last thing i would is, that he is discouraged and abandoned this Story.
