There are just different games for different players. Some are really high paced, some aren't and each will have their fans. I mean, one can suggest that some (some) patrons may not like a really slow burn, but you may just as well say that some people enjoy their coffee with milk and sugar. Sure, that's the case, but it doesn't really add anything to how the game should move forward.

Yes, being on this platform kind of encourages "lot's of lewd content right away" but it doesn't mean that every game here has to be the same or has to be developed in the same way.

Im not opposed to a slow burn. i don't like fuck fests. Lets be honest here even the best sex scenes kind of suck. Worse than those porn clips from the early days of the internet. They are not good in terms of actual sex they are good because of the situation, the story and the characters. If one wants to see sex he's better off just googling for some.

My problem is with the way the story is told and how new things keep getting introduced and nothing is getting resolved.

atm the only one that has any sort of payoff is 6. The main plot also has the problem that it could easily be solved if Suzi, Charlotte and Emma had a little chat. The Mc is also doing a piss poor job of solving this. Why the hell didn't he push Suzi for information once she asks him if he's here because some guy ? why doesn't he talk to Charlotte about this immediately if he can't get information from Suzi ?

I'm mainly interested in Emma. i don't see how that can advance in any meaningful way atm without the MC being a total creep and a shitty bodyguard. The only appropriate way would be after he deals with the stalker and the peeping tom but once those things are resolved the story is done. I feel like it would have been better if this whole stalker thing was used just to bring the characters together it got resolved in a update or two and then have the main story be about something else. I'm afraid that the dev might have wrote himself into a hole and thats why the story is running in place.

8 update, and still zero character progression. Every time it seems there's something, there's a stepback intentionally just to keep the status qou. It's not only getting annoying, it's also killing off otherwise progressible or likeable characters on the long run. I found myself care less and less about their circumstances as we go forward and they still act like they did from day one. That goes for the useless dimwit main character as well, you wonder how someone like him was able to survive actual combat situations.

I liked the update. Ok, it has zilch, zero, nada sexual interaction and another cliffhanger about the same topic dragged through the update which is just really lame, but those few scenes with Suzy in bikini make up for it. (yes, she is my favourite so far, I am a sucker for women with fit bodies) Can't wait for the next update.

I'm not counting on it, but hopefully both Emma and Charlotte start to break out of their shell a little more, honestly it's time... Even when it looks like the dev is setting up to make them more trusting, more free, like it was happening with Charlotte... some sort of setback happens and brings us back to status quo.

I liked the premise and intro to this game, Emma specially is an adorable character, but the stalling is getting to insane levels.
At some point it's gonna be like still watching "the Walking Dead" because you enjoyed it in the past... 5 seasons ago.

Maybe I'm just too used to reading light novels, which often have an even slower plot progression. At least I can imagine a good purpose for all of these plots eventually and you'll have to start them at some point. It's a general problem in development of these games, either you start everything at once and then need ages to tie things up, or you go plot by plot but have to live with the fact that the story/game loses depth and offers a worse experience once it's done.

It really takes player out of the game when MC knows something important but player don't.

Looks like the whole hillside is going to get some action before MC gets even a handjob .

Lucy is up for fuck anytime. I don't see why there's no scene with Lucy so far. Hell it would not have been so out of character for Lucy if she fucked MC on the first update itself.

All he have to do to recieve a "NO SEXUAL CONTENT" tag is to remove the awkward mastubation scene of one of the NPCs.
I'm sure games with that tag don't get many supporters and that's why some of his patreons are pissed.

Aunt Lucy was presented as an empowered woman with a high sex drive since the very first update.
There is no good reason to not introduce sex in her route already.
Charlie forbade her but that has never stopped Lucy to do what she wants, plus two consenting adults having an intimate relationship has nothing to do with a third party.

Of course you can make up a million reasons to keep Lucy at bay. I can make situations to introduce sex with Emma already.

It's necessary tho? I think the game needs a balance between sex and story, a fuckfest right now would be as bad as non-sex content.

I like the premise and characters of the story but some things have me worried:

- Emma constant state of vulnerability, it's getting tiresome at this point. We don't have to deal with the stalker alone, we have to deal with her extreme naivity, the school bullies and now Zak has a plan too. Like come on, she would end worse than her mother at this pace.
I hope at least she forgets about Zak after this update but I doubt it.

- Charlotte state of mind and distrust against the MC, we have proven to be reliable, we're taking good care of her daughter, friends and dealing with direct threats. But somehow her inner monologues are still about getting rid of the dude asap.
At that pace she will be open for a hug in update 0.20.

Also I'll say that I actually don't have a problem with the character progression as it relates to the length of the story [amount of total text/renders].

I think that what everyone is actually feeling is the rate of character progress in relation to the amount of text/renders in each update and the length of time between updates.

I don't know if the dev has explained it anywhere yet, but my guess is that the combination of high quality renders along with what so far seems to be high quality staging while working on a single PC and probably not yet making enough donations to do this full time is the reason why updates feel so light on content.

If I had enough liquid funds to do so I would be sponsoring devs from several VNs here to the point that they could quit any other jobs and focus on their stories because while lewd fap VNs are a dime-a-dozen, VNs with actually interesting story content are far fewer.
VNs like this but also Rebirth and a few others.

Srly though the updates are short and I'd love to have them longer but better short than not! You won't be able to convince the people to stop mentioning it, I just hope the dev keeps up the good work and though they don't advertise how much they get. They have 550 patrons and that should be more than 1500bucks... I'd say the quality is still worth the wait

I've offered several devs the use my own workstation [when I'm not using it] that I also use to encode video and render my designs from SolidWorks for my work but so far none has seemed keen on the idea, though I don't actually know how much it'd help as I don't know how portable their work-flow is as I don't use Daz or anything like that in my business.

Sadly it's not that easy, to my knowledge you'd either need access to every single on of their assets or pay for the iray server licence (295$/year)... There might be some other solutions I'm not aware of but sadly I don't think there's a solution that would be worth doing unless you have a workstation pimped out to the point of allowing for a leap in rendertimes even over the internet.
