That's the thing I worry about most. Far too many porn games with gameplay actually fail to integrate the porn in the gameplay loop in any meaningful way - or worse, relegate the porn to a fail-state - basically forcing you to lose on purpose to see the lewds.

While I'm not too enamored with the narrative framework of Subverse (romanceable characters that also breed with every critter you come across - it would have been much better if the MC had also been female) I do applaud the general idea. The female characters need to fuck monsters and get impregnated by them so they can give birth to troops you can use in battles.

I'm still not too sure how they devs of Fallen Doll plan to meld meaningful gameplay with the porn, or if there is any plan to do so.

Their recent attempt to split the game apart into SFW and NSFW parts doesn't fill me with much confidence, and while they backed away from such an idea after audience backlash, the fact that it was even contemplated does worry me that the porn and gameplay were meant to be separate aspects.

With Valve there's basically no clear rules, or at least none that anyone has been able to pin down consistently. It seems it all depends on the person that is doing the reviewing on Valve's behalf, and whatever mood they are in when they make their decision.

The devs will only really have two options:
1. Not sell the game in countries where doing so is likely to be deemed illegal (Germany et al)
2. Bend the knee and censor the game

Option 2 is the worst possible outcome, because even though they said they could release an uncensored version on DL Site, I'm not too optimistic about their willingness and ability to maintain two separate versions of the game on two different platforms.
Yeah those Valve reviewers can be quiet unpredictable, rumors say those are though quiet competent people who decide what gets through and what not and they are going quiet deep in their review process of a new indie studio.

The May costume bundle has been released last Friday. We got bundles for April and March as well, and I think they'll continue to release them until at least the Steam release. Or was that not what you're asking about?
ok so we will get the outfits once the game is released on stream. I thought these outfits could already be downloaded for the current game version.

do people still believe that this game actually comes to steam?
The developers do want it on steam, the thing is will steam allow it? It's a rapey monster game, and just the existence of Galatea would be enough for Valve to take it off the store even if she has no hentai content, and they've also removed games just for having schoolgirl uniforms, which this game does have.
If they do somehow manage to get it onto steam, I wouldn't be surprised if Valve ends up removing it later anyway.

Crazy, so they never did any update for patreons since the beginning of the year and they still have an steady growth? The problem is I have no fucking idea how the game will look like, so I basically have to pay for a product I have no idea what it will look like. They could've at least add some scenes, because I fear shit could end like wild llife. I really love what they did so far.
I think the reason they're still getting good support is the monthly costume bundles, to be honest. If you pledge a certain amount, you get four costumes that may or may not be exclusive. I think they'll be unlockable or buyable when the game launches, but who knows. Either way, I think FOMO (fear of missing out) is helping them in this regard. People want to pledge now so they for sure will get those costumes.

The latest release of the game has not been changed since its release. They've moved to a 2.0 of their sex system and are preparing for the Steam release. The content drought that that has as a result is exactly why they're releasing the costume packs. Just to give the supporters something at all.

Okay, that sounds completely silly and unreasonable.

If you get Keanu Reeves to play a character in this game and maybe even do a big presentation for it, then you'll be able to release it on Epic Games Store.
But definitely not Steam, aint gonna happen.
I wasn't aware the Epic Games Store allowed adult content at all. Why do you think they'd have a chance on there but not Steam, which does allow pornographic games?

Its a joke. I'm implying that since this worked for Cyberpunk, then it can work for anything. It wasnt a serious comment.

Do not expect any further cracked versions since the game will require always online access to data from a multiplayer server.
People emulate servers for games all the time, ex. dead by daylight (not anymore because of the many updates), phasmophobia, etc. It just depends on how dedicated the crackers are, and how far PH is willing to go to prevent it.

another month, another pushback for their multiplayer idea because steam wont let them have it, and xcom-like gameplay still just a mention without any proof of concept...

color me surprised.

yeah that galatea "news" is quite sad, but then again, pushing this content onto the western market that clearly cant handle the h-industry + adding a multiplayer idea...yeah..still, i will observe this for future laughs.

comparing this game with other multiplayer oriented h-games(suprisingly only league of maiden comes to my mind...and god thats one awful concept) that somehow try to be a AAA-game... i pretty much get the vibes of PH that they are hellbent to prevent any form of community interference because of their "contracts".

This was quiet crazy because it's more about of the context then what is shown

Woman Portrayed as the Subject and in some Comedic "Im that dumb blonde you always dreamed of get me" that seems to have become problematic as well.

Many Woman that Objectifying themselves on full consent (for whatever reasons) in this production here triggered their alarm it seems "sexually explicit image" charges where pushed against La Ruina for this (i don't like him but it was the Womans Decission to be part of this).

Many of the Girls used it fully intentional as Promotion of themselves and Objectified themselves fully aware of it.

Have you not read my previous posts about this subject? Of course people make emulators but you shouldn't expect anyone here to actively do that. This game is going to receive monthly updates and no one will want to keep up the encryption changes. Map hacks nearly ceased to exist once Escape from Tarkov started to double encrypt their stream. Most methods require you to play EoT inside of a VM and use that to access the memory, while bypassing their easy anti cheat, or you use a PCIe Screamer card.

So if ProjectH doesn't encrypt it, then it's easy to make an emulator. If they single encrypt it, just copy the packets and strip the SSL layer off with a man in the middle attack, and read the packets to know what's going on. If it's double encrypted then screw it. But honestly, don't expect anyone to go through that trouble. I'm not.

This is actually the first pushback from Steam that I can remember. And they haven't had mush pushback for their multiplayer idea, actually. Yes, there are lots of concerns from players, but most of those have been covered or answered by ProjectH already. Things like being able to hide others and yourself from others.
I think their Harem Mode will happen in some form or another no matter what. And I expect it to be very similar to the current gallery mode. The gameplay is something I'm skeptical about, though. Especially since we've seen absolutely nothing of it yet and gameplay in hentai games is usually pretty bad anyway.

the first pushback they had because of steam: their content in general, for example galatea and the hippo(horse) monster. thats the first time they started excuses and had to explain different versions for steam and patreon because steam was bitching around. i can just imagine patreon will come around too if this gets more attention. and then the pushback because of the concerns the community and those who are on the fence about this project, but those arent valid i guess.
i know not everyone want/can do it like redamz monstergirl island and just leave patreon. but seriously. this project stands on feeble legs, is bound by contracts and throws alot of shady concepts. excuse my critique.

anyways, i wasnt refering to the multiplayer pushback because of steam alone, as you can see, usually i dont copy&paste all the reasons all the time why this project is doing pretty bad practice...

at this point i feel more enjoyment out of a transmog nudity-modded monster hunter world. and i dont like monster hunter world alot.

Yeah, I would be very surprised if Patreon will not push back because of the horse monster, Galatea, or just the rape-y content in general sooner or later. It's actually a miracle they haven't had issues with Patreon yet.
