It's a sort of design decision, the problem is that if I allow instant speed, that will break a shit load of things. Look at Pheonix Wright, for instance, you cannot have instant text. The reason is somewhat similar there since the characters have lip animation and that every message box conveys a timed sound (sometimes it can be coming from an environment or something happening on screen), the moment you allow instant text you almost break all the work that went into it. I also don't think it's that slow, well I will upgrade the speed a tad more since there is room for it in the next version, but I might never leave the option to go instant since that will break many things.

I get the design decision, but it absolutely is possible to work around it, many games do. Lip sync would get lost, and as a designer that probably bugs you, but as one of the people who likes instant speed text, that doesn't bother people like me.
As for timed sound effects, there's actually lots of ways to do it in Renpy. I'm not sure how you've coded it, but the most common solution is to have segments of the text load in blocks, cue the effect, then load the next one. Or just do what Dan Salvato did, and lock specific lines of dialogue to playing at slower speeds for the effect.

I like your other work a lot, so understand I don't mean any disrespect. I'm just one of those people who reads really fast, and slow speeds drive me up the wall.

Kinda glad you did this, I think I found like...1 sex scene before? and although the quality of the game and design are very high and promising, the content leaves a lot to be curious about, and if I'm being perfectly honest, because its such a high quality design, I am quite worried about release schedule. I love the care and attention put into it, but I also am a bit wary about putting like 30 dollars a month into a game that updates once every 6 months, if that makes sense. I firmly believe in supporting and funding games I like, but when I've payed 10x a full game price for a game that doesn't look like it will be done after years and doesn't offer content in a consistent manner...well people that have done those things have made me quite wary

I don't know what to say, we are clearly not gonna update it once every 6 months that's for sure. I have a long history of making consistent updates on a very regular frequency. If you don't believe my track record, then I don't know. This update came 2 months after the previous one and is about the same length, if not a bit more. You do you at the end of the day. It's not my fault if you decided to pledge to the wrong neighbourhood in the past.

wittedmouse You shouldn't be stuck, just get to the town square on Day 2, it should lead you to the end of the version.

Like the game a lot , feel like I'm playing a coc scenario with some H scenes.

Any possibility to have instant text? Kinda a pain to have to wait for the text or click to quickly and miss half of the info.

Okay well it depends on who you go for, but there is definitely a lot of femdom at the start since the beginning is not a power fantasy, but once you discover a certain thing you can decide to turn things around (if you wish to and that would open the harem route but it's not something that you discover at the beginning).

This game is really great! Most of the games out there are pure 3d basic art and basic Ren'py GUI, but this really stands out. Not just the art, but the GUI too. I'm looking forward to seeing the development of this game in the future.
