It is clear that DEV has the skills and capacity to achieve its financial goals. But he is now known only for his arrogance and an abandoned game (it is worth mentioning that it is a good game).

So demanding immediate support for a new game is unrealistic, and if I were him I'd abandon that one too in that very first update. Because with that attitude, it causes impossible for him to attract new patrons.

There is no way a DEV, even if he is a genius at what he does, gets such incredible support in some releases, many have more than one game completed and does not reach the level that this one is waiting for v0.4. then demanded this amount for a second upgrade, when you don't have the credibility and trust of the community is complete without total logic.

I wish he can go through and finish it... but I don't believe it's going to happen.
Would also add that I almost feel it's disrespectful to other devs and artists out there that keep going with very little support.
I could name right away a dozen or two titles/devs that receive average or very little support but keep getting better and better and interacting with the "deviant" community...
So yeah, believe it when I see it.

Honestly, I don't understand anything at all. I know there is an expression that an artist should be hungry, but if he starves too long, he will simply starve to death. Or he will have to work somewhere else, and coming home after long and tiresome day at work, let's just say that this condition is not always conducive to creation. So I understand him well, if your work isn't supported, you start to think that there is something wrong with it, but you just can't understand what it is. That leaves you with one option - to start all over again. Although, remembering the previous game, I think it was because there were too many NTR vibes.

I don't think anyone here is criticizing DEV for wanting to make money, but rather for how quickly he wants to achieve that.

As I said, he seems very skilled and capable of it. But even if this was his first project (let's forget PI), he would have to have a little patience first. He may not have achieved his goal for Ns reasons. Whether it's the "NTR vibes" whether it's for lack of marketing or just their way of communicating with the community.

But I believe it is really due to the lack of patience of waiting for the return. If you are not already a famous DEV, by previous success, launch a new game and demand a "high" financial support, it is certain that it will not.

One example. Psychodelusional, has a completed game (not so good graphics and a story more or less), but he did an incredible apocalust marketing, and their backers knowing that he finished his previous game even with little support and low qualities, he received much support for the new project. Even with the doubts about the delay of the release of updates.

You forgot to add "not being that good at this shit" as one of the reasons. PI had impressive renders and an interesting starting premise but it also had major flaws. That game lacked even a semblance of proper game storytelling, with multiple MCs operating in completely separated places and storylines, resulting in a disjointed mess. So let's not pretend it was just a matter of time to reach those goals because it certainly wasn't.

It's the same as any game (this included), pretty renders can only get you so far. Then the honeymoon ends, people stop getting distracted by them and start looking at the actual game.

Damn, I wish this developer could find a solid team with a good storyteller and put out some serious shit. Such a waste of talent.

Storywise this is nothing new but renders are above average. The biggest problem this game has is its own dev because the Primal Instinct fiasco. That was a shitshow and he's already asking for money to keep working on Incest clone number 2001458.
Yeah, good luck with that. Next game try College, It's the popular thing these days.

Leaving aside the developer's economic pretensions...

Will this game have real incest?

Yeah, Primal Instinct was pretty good. But it had virtually no incest at all.
You just knew that the younger sister was in love with the MC, but suddenly the stepsister shows up and falls in love with her.
And the mother. Just a dream with the MC and his wife. The only sexual interactions the mother has is with her coworker. This was very disappointing.
